[ALL] /effects not working.

Description: I used /effects and the flaming glow did not appear around me.

 

Hmmm. Is it a texture pack your using? It might be that or do you see others effects, but not when you do it?

 

Yea texture packs will sometimes not work also make sure render settings are pretty average and particles set to all

 

Do you use optifine? Maybe you disabled Flame textures.

 

If you have Optifine, go to Options > Video Settings > Animations > Flame Animation and turn it on.

 

Are your particles on?

 

As the others said above, if you are using a texture pack, it might not have those flames set in it, and it'll be invisible. Otherwise, your particles are off. If you don't use Optifine, do these steps.

Options > Video Settings > Particles.

If your particles are not set to "All", then the flames will not show up. Hope this helped!
