A Message About Bullies.

So it's October, meaning it's Anti-Bullying month.
So..
Here's a video about it.

Here's my question
Have you ever been bullied?
My answer?
Yes.
A lot.
I got bullied for being a nerd, for being smart. I got bullied for not understanding things others did like being cool. I got bullied and harassed for not knowing all the bad words. I got bullied for not looking good, for not having a talent that everyone else does, and for not going outside. Every week. Once at least.
Not anymore at least.

 

I heard this guy speak before.
He was on Ted Talks I think.
My teacher played the video to everyone in my class, and from then on, all the bullies stopped being bullies.
Kudos to the speaker.

 

This is when you use the anger and rage you get from being bulled and go to the gym. I did that and now I don't get bullied anymore... wonder why lol

Bullied? Countless times.

Remember a thread at one point, and it said that being emo makes you popular? (Don't bring it up or something, I'm just saying) Well, the way I act, having a severely negative attitude in life and what people tend to call a "Dark and emo," personality, causes them to take advantage of some of my thoughts, and on purposely harm me, physically. (Although I don't feel physical pain that badly) Furthermore, racial jokes have been made towards me, and discrimination. I can name more, but it would probably reach over the 10k character limit (Yes, it's an exaggeration, but it is still pretty long). Then again, in the area I live, it's technically "Kill or be killed."

this is what annoys me ALOT dumb people think its ok to bully or do it because well people learn by influence and i can name countless place in today society that tell you Its good to be ripped its bad to be fat its good to be cool and bad to not be cool and people think I NEED TO LOOK LIKE THE SEXIEST MAN/WOMAN ALIVE not realizing the photo is Photoshopped anyway WE LIVE IN A FREE COUNTRY AND PEOPLE CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT SO DON'T BE A JERK TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT 100% perfect dummies

 

I was beat up alot in elementary, I ended up using my viola as a self defense mechanism sorry shadow and ms.dahms

But there was nothing I could do about it. Our school is making sure everyone knows about anti-bullying month, and I like it. I never have gotten bullied since elementary, and intend to keep it that way.

 

This made no sense bruh

 

I've been bullied. Many times. But I don't really care about it.

I have been bullied. For being very tall, stupid at some times, the way my name is spelled, and being Japanese. Since 1ST GRADE AND CONTINUING, I have been bullied because of my name, Sean it is pronounced Shawn/Shaun, but people still say Seen. No matter how many times I tell them it is pronounced Shawn, they keep saying Seen. This has been since 3rd grade. Typical, ignorant, white people (I'm white and I'm still saying this). They thought that I was Chinese for 5 months, despite how many times I have said that there is a huge difference between China and Japan. They thought that every Asian word had to start in a ch- sound such as Ching Chang Chong. Of course, the slanted eyes. Not even a week ago, my friend said, "I thought Japan was the capital of China." *facepalm-facedesk-facefloor-facecrust-facemantle-facecore* I have no doubt that that type of bullying will never end.

 

I hear ya bro.
I've never been bullied directly,
but I've heard lots of "gook" "chink" etc
behind my back since grade school.
I don't let it get to me, or I'll be stooping to their level.

 

More to add on: Constantly, my "friend" makes fun of me for being Asian/Japanese /Chinese/Chino. I showed up to art class in a yellow shirt. He said, "Hey Chino, where's your shirt?" Also, stuff like small d*ck, but he messes up quite a bit so I'm fine. At least on the outside. I remember my teacher saying something about bullying. Take a piece of paper. Now crumple it up. That's bullying. Try to flatten it out any way you can. Those are your apologies. It may be flat, but you can still see the wrinkles. Bullying changes a person forever.

 

I got directly bullied in 3rd grade. It was this girl on the bus, and her brother. I was new to the school, so I was a relatively easy target. (not to mention that she was in 5th grade.) Bit by bit, day by day, she annoyed me any way possible without actually punching me or anything. It was definitely bullying- I could see it in her laugh. So, one time of the many pinches, her brother joined in when laughing at me. I snapped. I reached over, and with my mutant-length nails, I pinched him. Revenge was mine... but then everyone on the bus called me a monster. It was worth it, though : p

and no one bothered me again. (at least in that school) I have more but I am going to school in literally 10 minutes.

 

I have been bullied before in school, when I was in 3rd grade, we had a kid who was a complete jackass to me by throwing me into a garbage dumpster, stealing my belongings and insulting me. and also in 8th grade, i was forced to be a bully by my old "friend" to this one kid. Felt so terrible that i had to treat this kid like garbag so that the kid used to hang out with didnt turn against me. But the day i left middle school, i walked right up to the kid i bullied and told him i was truly sorry for what ive done and that i wish him the best of luck in life

Bullying is wrong, and it will always be wrong. If any of you see someone else that is being discriminated or bullied just cause of there race, gender or ethnicity, you have every right to report the bully to the school faculty. You could save a life that way

a was mildly bullied by this 1 kid it didn't make me sad or less confident it made me mad real mad because he kept pushing and pushing and i called him a Mother F******* I dont really regret calling him that to much he kinda deserved but i got in lots of trouble but i felt bad for scareing all my friends it so rember bullying is bad its f**** up and wrong it makes you look bad not cool most people don't wanna hang with a bully we are all person so whats the point bully's only ruin stuff for others there is no benefit so why do it also i have a bit of a story to share i was born with autism the doctors said i'd never talk but thanks to my mom therapist and nanny i can talk i know how to do most the stuff i was never supposed to do changing your brain is VERY hard trust me so the moral is some stuff may be vary hard but if you work hard you can do whatever you want except if its a bad thing of course whether its autism,bullying, or anything else don't let limitations stop you
