A Cascade of Roses A story by Expedect Chapter 1 ⁂ Oblivious●▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬● I was scared. Petrified. I could barely feel my feet, I was lost. Something was there with me, a small, yet wise creature. It knew I was here, it knew I was scared. It was oblivious to the door that slowly crept open. I felt it going up my leg, tears streaking furiously down my face. I screamed for my life and my confidence, which I lacked, broke down. I kicked the monstrosity we call normal off of me and sprinted for the door. My tears streaked down my face even faster. I heard it behind me, running, faster, closer every second I felt like I was safe. The hallway never ended. The door never saw me, nor did I see the door. It was over. (TBT)
