It seems that the world is falling apart, here's a happier story So I was at the doctors office today, and one of the doctors, my mom and I were all talking about Brazil, the doctor told a story about how when she was on a mission trip she and her group (of 20 or so) saw a house owned by a family (of 5 I think). Their house was basically 4 poles, possibly tree trunks, very minimal walls, and just leaves as a roof. The family invited all twenty of the missionaries into their little house and were very proud of what they had. Even though they had none of the conveniences we have today, they were still happy, for some reason, this story amazed me, it made me a lot more thankful for the things I am blessed to have, no matter how shabby, or broken it is. "This new app is so cool, I want it or "I wish my computer was faster" seemed so obsolete. Do you have any cool stories like that
This is a great book that I read in my childhood. (When I was younger) The Giving Tree. https://allpoetry.com/poem/8538991-The-Giving-Tree-by-Shel-Silverstein
