A announcement and a confession

Just to let you know, I have made my account private because I have realized there are some people out there who I cant trust to view my account. If you wish to view my account, send me a message in my inbox stating why you want to view my account. If I think you gave a good reason, I will let you view my profile, if I decline your request, I will not let you view my profile. Sorry.

Now for my confession. No one knows this, because I have never told anyone this, but I am what is known as a "Grammar Nazi". I thought it was embarrassing so I kept it a secret, by using common words and not big words. I decided to let you know. From now and on, I will be using bigger words and I will add a glossary at the bottom of the thread showing you a dictionary definition of the word.

Being a grammar Nazi isn't bad. Joe's a grammar Nazi, i'm still friends with him, Just because you don't like bad grammar doesn't mean anyone would think that you're bad or less than the person you are

If you post a glossary with a word that we all know, it feels like you're trying to be better than us. If you randomly Google words to make your sentences look "fancier," nobody is going to like that...

Nazi: a member of the National Socialist German Workers' party of Germany

glossary: a list of terms in a special subject

a: the first letter in the English alphabet, a vowel

Google: to use the search engine Google to search for information on the Internet.

 

And I thought he was supposed to be a Grammar Nazi....

 

Being a Grammar Nazi is good, but you should only use those big words when you really need to.
