1.8 Update!

Ok so I don't know about you guys but I am very excited about this update. Obviously one thing that everyone is happy about is the new Slime Block!


Just look at how cool that looks! This will be very useful for people on Skyblock, Survival, and Factions.
The first thing I'm going to make is a trampoline!
I also just read that they are adding different shaders to the creepers and spiders.
The only think I don't like about new updates is waiting for the mods you use to update. I use Optifine and VoxelMap. I also would have to wait for the texture pack I use (Faithfull 32x) to update to 1.8

Also, this update allows name changes... If you didn't know already.
I'm really excited about this update. Also to anyone who is reading this thread right now, can you post any new stuff I did not mention. You can also comment on your favorite thing that is being added! Ok bye guys...

 

1) I'm excited about the slime block [I want to make a trampoline also ;)] I hope it'll be bouncy though.
2) And the name change, I hope you don't get a limit to how many times you can change it.

Mojang said that as of right now the name change is not available (obviously)
And also their will not be a limit.
One more thing, when you're bouncing on the slime block, if you just press space near when you're about to land on the block again you will stop bouncing instead of waiting for gravity to make you stop bouncing.
