november will be 7 years of me being here... that'll literally be 1/3 of my life then. crazy. i hope even after the server and forums shut down that they keep something up to remember it by. our parents had nostalgic shit that was a little more tangible than what we have. this place will be our version of that one park or skate rink that the generation before us all linked up at friday nights
even now, multiple times after i've thought i've logged off and made my last post for the last time, here i am again checking things out and seeing how everyone is doing. something about ijah always keeps ppl within a few degrees of separation
every aspect of my life from when i joined this server is different. i wish 13 year old me could see me now. he'd be scared and proud. i cant imagine how someone from ijah who last interacted with me in 2016 would react to me now. parts of our lives overlap and other parts don't, the parts of each other's lives that we dont see. we all subconsciously accept that shit changes and that's the power of this place.
anyway i wanted to say that without making a thread bc this is more... subtle i guess. if you made it this far, leave a like so when i log on again in a month or something i'll know someone who was passing through at any given point in time enjoyed this
