I wanted to know if there are any other people who have experience in programming or any other technology.
In this thread we will talk about experience with programming languages, servers, hardware development, projects you have made, etc.

I learn programming in school and in another course that teaches very high level programming, networking, hardware and so on.

I've learned C#, basic web designing with HTML and ASP.NET and JavaScript in school. I only study C# in school now, which includes object oriented programming, algorithms and stuff like that. It's all pretty simple in school. :P

The things I learn in my other course are more interesting. Last year I learned C, Python (mainly for networking), networking (mainly protocols and basic server and clients making, but also stuff like DNS poisoning, DDoS, SQL injection and more).
This year I learned Assembly x86, C++ (currently working on a project that's something like a very basic version of Google Docs with clients and servers and stuff. One of the more frustrating things I had to do this year was to code an AVL Tree system, ugh). In addition to Assembly, I also learned other things in the hardware field, like chip making in HDL, memory, ALU, Program Counter, and stuff like that.

I hope to get in a cyber related role in the army, which I will most likely be recruited to in about two years.

Go ahead and write about what you do! :)

Mostly self-taught myself. Learnt HTML, CSS etc (if you can call that programming) about 6 years ago. Since then I've dabbled in Visual Basic, a bit of PHP, Javascript and a few others. I also learnt Java around 2 years ago. Currently I am in an internship at a development firm where I am learning about C#, ASP.NET and MVC, along with making Android Apps. I occasionally manage some Debian VPS' for a friend of mine.

Programming in new zealand schools is very lax.

Probably going to go into software development or something.

jlkjasdflkj how did I miss this thread

    Proficient in:
Java, Node.js, Javascript, SQL (oh gosh the 'nam flashbacks), bash (yes, really, bash), Java, HTML, CSS

Somewhat proficient, but still need to look up some more basic things:
python, C/++, Assembly (yes, assembly. The horrors)

Also fairly proficient with reverse engineering malware.

Done way too much Linux systems administration for my own good; know VPS hosting like the back of my hand (just don't know KVM's configuration very good); network administration is a dear love of mine (personally own 2 48-port HP switches, an 18-port Cisco switch, a 10-port router, just for me to play with).

I have a little mini homelab with a single Dell R610 (dual quad-core processors and 48GB RAM), have a cloud hosted server that's the same as my homelab, just with double the RAM and two SSDs.

tl;dr I have too much fun with IT stuff.

I know a bit of HTML, CSS from an intro to compsci class.

The main thing I know is Java, however I am still learning. I got most of my knowledge from an AP class I took and an internship I have now. The intenship taught me other fun things related to Java, shch as Git repositories ivy xml, and a bit of Gradle.

My internship also exposed me to AIX (IBM's UNIX) and HP(gross) boxes.

I have also taught myself how to write Javascript( with jQuery jfc Austin) and SQL.

I have half an IT certification and all we did was OHS, and how to use Excel, Access, and other programs.
    This year seems more fun.
    We've started with Mail Merges.

~Apparently we're doing something programming related in the coming weeks.
Oh boy can't wait for it to be something lame.

I know Python, a bit of Java, and MATLAB (Discussions can be had on whether you think it's a language or not). I once tried learning javascript, but damn, I saw it was not worth my time.

I used to be alright at Cinema4d, Blender, and Maya. I haven't re-downloaded them since I nuked my computer though.
