Contemptible's Reasons for Resignation

Hello,

I've resigned my position as a staff member on the server because of issues that have risen up and have taken serious priority. I could have taken a break and return later, but I didn't want to do that and set up a bad example for staff to come. I would much rather have the position taken and ran by someone who is actively on and helping out.

With that said, the factors that are causing me to suddenly leave are ones that will make my activity nonexistent, for the most part, for about 18 to 20 weeks minimum.

Some of the factors of my resignation are as followed.

1. School. This means spending more time on homework and grades, consuming a higher portion of my day now that I've started a new Semester.
2. SAT/ACT exams are coming up, and I need to study my ass off for this. For those that don't know, these tests are what helps me get into college. I'd like to pass with a high score for a better college than a community one.
3. I have finals in school to prepare for as well. Stage standardized tests are not that far away.
4. I have a job, and I cannot let go of this one.
5. I am now part of a Police Department "group" called "Explorers" which is a small organization for teenagers who have a thought in joining law enforcement. This gives those children the opportunity to learn the daily basis and help out the community by volunteering.

That being said, I have a lot on my plate and no room for Minecraft at the moment.

I am glad that you guys have supported me through my acceptance, my time as a staff member, and through my resignation. Thank you for that.

I wanted to end this thread by thanking one special person who has given me the wonderful opportunity to be a staff member, has helped me throughout my time, and was a good friend to have some fun with. @MrDeathWilliam, thank you for everything I've stated, and more.

To the staff members that may see this as a leaving thread due to some portions, it is not. I am not leaving the community, I am not leaving the server.

Your reason for leaving the staff team is fully understandable, I hope your life will be amazing!

 

You're such an amazing guy and I just know you're going to do great in life.
You were such a great staff member, and we all thank you for the work you have done and all the effort you have done.
Your decision in resigning has my full support. After all, IRL before MC.
I wish you the best of luck with everything, it'll be tough but I know you'll pull through!

Didn't know you too well, but it's never good when a staff member resigns, especially if they're as active as they can possibly be like you were. (I'd see you on very often on the forums)

Well, at least you've got a life to look forward to and take advantage of. It's better to take care of important situations in real life than to try and help solve things on a Minecraft server. You made the right choice, and good luck on your tests/exams!

You where one of the BEST mods I can name and you treated this server like it was the best, You're unforgettable and you're still as awesome as you where!
