I can't tell if this really is exclusion, or just general hate, maybe even both. But one of the strangest facts about this is how obvious people make it, like when I'm just generally chatting or trying to just have some fun with everyone else when they are talking and joking, people go out of their way just to say things like "Yeah, I don't care." I even had my report card this year had worse marks because I didn't participate in group activity because of everyone doing this.

This has been happening every single year at school, and if its about my ADHD, I can't help that. I'm starting to just blame myself for not being able to fit in with everyone else and its really just not fair to just leave people out like this and it's like everyone has the same mindset and I'm getting sick of it.

I feel you, really. I have some nice friends, but I don't even know if they're friends anymore. I'm always the second choice, it's sad. It has been like this for a long time, basically my whole life. It sucks. Anyways, sometimes, being on your own is better. Try to be yourself, don't change for others just to fit in. You're unique in your own way, and I'm sure you'll find people that won't act like that towards you. I hope that you'll find a place to fit in soon c:

dude, there are so many people who are experiencing the same problem, including me.
Every time I try to help people, they refuse, sometimes they even ignore me. Every time I try to speak they always give me looks, causing me to no longer be myself. I used to be bubbly and energetic, but then I became shy because of people excluding my feelings.
But because of someone that is now my role model that is always himself and has the same personality as me (even tho he doesn't exist), I'm now going to be confident again. I'm going to be myself in 2017 and be my bubbly self again.
Always remember that even when you are excluded, there are always peoples that'll accept you and theyll include you in their lives.

Sorry if my wording is horrible, I'm kind of tired lol.

Well, if you don't have anyone who respects you in your class when you have to do group projects, try talking to your teacher. It may seem like you're "tattletale/ing" but if it is affecting your grade then it doesn't matter. Don't let people use your abilities. If they're telling you to stay when you decide to leave and ignoring you at first then that means they don't care about how you feel, they just want you to input the work.

Lmao dw I "failed" a class which resolved around groupwork because I gave up early on working with groups cause no one would.
My best friend was the only one who would pair with me and I did 95-100% of the work.
Exclusion happens to everyone, regardless of colour, age, gender, etc.
Get yourself a few good friends, like 2-3.
Our group went from 4 to 3, but this year I've made some really great friends, especially one who lost her mother in 2014. I helped her with feelings, and she turned around and did the same to me.
See, unlike most people I am not friends with either half the year level or the entire school.
But if you "man up" and show that you can do life on your own, eventually people will stop and include you.
I was excluded hard-core early on, but I made it through with only 3 friends, and now I can talk to most people in our VCE year level.

It's hard but you can do it :)
