As you know, TWD Season 7 just premiered, and I'm left with mixed feelings. I'll explain in the spoiler. Spoiler: Literal spoiler for spoiler warning. Warning: Entering Fangurl mode Overall, I thought the episode was a tad bit too extreme. I know it was a premiere, but it was 60 minutes of pure suspense and violence - There wasn't really the bridge that most episodes have. Regarding who died: 1.) Abraham - Meh. I know we watched his head get bashed in, but I've never really cared for him much. They were bound to kill a less popular character. 2.) Glen - I knew he had to die. He came close to death 2 times. He died in the comic books. It seemed natuh The rest of this is a disorganized rant. Enjoy. Negan is a horrible person. What's he going to do to Daryl??? He made GLEN'S EYES POP OUT!?!! What kind of person does that? And that pile of brains and blood, yuck that was disgusting. I want to nuke this world and just get it over with at this point. And WHAT ABOUT MAGGY? She's gone crazy? And they just left her? they've gone crazy too! HEY, GUESS WHAT? EVERYONE HAS GONE MAD!!!!!11!1!!!! The rest is just a bunch of mashing my keyboard, so I won't include it. What did you guys think of it?
Spoiler: spoilers there was a lot going on for the first episode back, and I honestly think amc has overdone it this time. I understand it's the show but idk.. there was wayyy too much going on. but other than that, Negan is a complete psycho. although I figured glen was going to be the one to die, I didn't think Abe was. Glen was probably my favorite and now he's gone. ): Maggy is probably going to be traumatized forever and she won't really know what to do, I don't get how they all just left her even with everything she was going through. Rick has a lot to get straight through all of this mess. crazy start for the season i guess though.
I honestly love neegan He is such a good antagonist he made rick someone who is pure strength and whose done alot bend to his knees he made him weak he made him cry he destroyed him. Neegan honestly is amazing, he makes the governor look like nothing compared to him
I could do a whole synopsis and analyze the episode but I'm just gonna give a short set of simplified thoughts right now. I enjoyed it, every piece that goes into a film was flawless. The pacing was well. Everyone of the actors/actresses did amazing. Jeffery Dean Morgan killed it last night, literally. the deaths, oh my god i cried. still crying. I loved both characters in their own ways. Since I've been watching since the beginning so Glenn's death affected me the most. I expected Abe to die, he died way before this in the comics so they were bound to kill him anyways. Everyone is confused where they're taking Daryl; well most likely to a prison. Norman was spotted in some sort of prison outfit on set and they did that in the comics. Even thought he is my favourite character(besides Glenn) (this photo is a joke) also if you didn't realize, everyone Maggie ever loved was murdered by a human. Maggie's initial reaction was so so upsetting. Everyone wants Maggie to be pissed, to slap someone, Rick or Daryl, but she doesn’t! Cause what would that do? She lunged at Daryl as he was hauled into the truck. She still wanted to protect him, because she doesn’t BLAME him like almost every fan does. And Why would she slap Rick? If anyone is to blame, it’s freaking Jesus! He took them to the hilltop, his group brought Negan into their world and though he probably didn’t know, sure didn’t warn them how badass Negan’s men were. But no one’s pointing out that detail. Blaming Daryl for his actions his like blaming Jesus or Gregory or whatever that guy’s name is that stabbed Gregory or Rick’s over cockiness, or even Maggie’s illness! All their actions lead them to what happened. Negan is the one who swung the bat, Negan was the one who picked Glenn. It is not at all Daryl’s full fault. Also, Negan's choice of langauge just screwed me up. Like I couldn't take it. that is all im gonna say about that THIS RIGHT HERE WAS NOT OKAY. THE BABY. negan: come here carl: shout out to carl for not even blinking at the idea of having his arm cut off he was willing to do it just so no one else had to get hurt what did we do to deserve carl grimes plus shout out to every single actor on the walking dead tonight. i have never seen a cast pull off such a performance, and i swear if they all don’t get at least one award this up coming season then i will riot. you can’t fake emotion like that, and i would love to see another cast try and pull off what they did tonight. bravo to every single cast member. this show never stops blowing my mind, and it amazes me that these beautiful people are able to show so much emotion, that we as an audience feel it as well. my only talking dead thoughts: i can’t believe we live in a world where just saying norman reedus’ name gets more applause from the audience than the arrival of steven yeun, the poc that just died in the most disgusting and brutal way on live television. I'm done now :^)
Spoiler: spoilers honestly i didnt like this episode, but i enjoyed it- so its bittersweet i guess lmao when it came on i was shaking the whole time, so it was very suspenseful for me. The part I really liked was the flash blacks of everyone, It gave the audience a moment to reflect on all the characters (even for a moment. I also liked how there is a antagonist who Rick can't "easily beat". When Negan made Rick go get the axe, and Rick was hanging from the man on the bridge, I liked how Negan killed the zombies, so Rick wouldn't get hurt/bitten. That shows that he has a tiny tiny heart, even though he said "hes my property and hes gonna live" etc etc. but i also want to burn negan in a pit Glenn's Death. I loved his character since the beginning, on 'The Talking Dead' where they did the Memoir, I was really really upset. now i dont mean to point fingers or anything, but If Daryl just stood still, Glenn (probably) would of been alive, yes i know, its how Robert Kirkman wrote the story/scene, but man, why Glenn????? yes his death been has been predicted a lot because he did die in the comics by Negan. EVEN before this season, i found out that Glenn dies in the comics and soon will in the show. once i heard that, i said to myself to enjoy the episodes that lead up to Glenn's death. cherish it. ok sorry its a bit cheesy ^^ but emotions When Hershal died, i was really upset and almost stopped watching the show. Glenn's death will be in-vain, but just like Hershal's death, I think his death will impact the others, and change them for the great or good- Especially Maggie. "Maggie, I'll find you" love him Abraham's Death. I didn't really like his character too much, There were times where I liked him and other times where I hated him. but when Negan was bashing him, He stood tall, proud. That was the part I liked. He wasn't afraid. He was proud of taking this punishment for his friends.
