And being a furry, like anything, doesn't have any like, ritual to be in, ofc. But, you can't call yourself a furry without seeing any furry-related content. Same can go for anything, really. You can't call yourself a pilot if you have never flown a plane, you can't call yourself a chef if you've never cooked. Just because you have the jumpsuit or the chef's hat, that doesn't make you those proffessions.

Basically, you're right when you say that anyone can be a furry, but to call yourself a furry(Coming from a furry), you need to have some credentials, which in the community's case would be seeing some content that is very prevalent in the community.

Well, there aren't rules against opinions, that's for sure. Some people might find it a bit discriminative.
But that's your opinion, and so do other people have opinions, as well. Some of them do like Anime and some don't.
It's understandable where you're coming from, but there are just other people out there that like many different things, just like you. You don't like Anime from the short description you gave, but others do.

I'm not going to teach you about anything, but there's tolerance, which is the acceptance of others' perspective and opinions. And on the other hand, there's intolerance for disagreeing with others' opinions and their views, which in some cases can lead to discrimination or in other cases just an opinion. You can have this as an analogy to politics or religion, as it makes perfect example for these.
