Server Connection Error..

In which minigame/server does the bug occur: This error occurs while connecting to server.

Description:
There is an error while I was connecting to the J&H server. I wanted to join the server to play some mini-games, I tried to join the server, and it took a long time to log in, but then, afterwards it says:

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadtimeoutException

It also sometimes let me connect, but sometimes not, I am fully connected to the internet, Firewall is turned off, and yeah. Plus it let's me connect to different servers, but not J&H server.

I have the latest version of Java (Version 7 Update 51) but it sometimes still wouldn't let me connect!

Is there any possible ways to fix this? If yes, please reply! ;)

 

You have more then one minecraft process open. Open your taskmanager and kill all processes saying javaw.exe or just restart your pc. Both will fix it.

 

I did that, but sometimes it works, and sometimes not!

That's the only 2 solutions I know for this. It could be that your minecraft is screwed. Not saying it will fix all your problems but could try delete .minecraft but not
.minecraft/saves
.minecraft/servers.dat

and reinstall the game. Minecraft is just a glitchy game where nothing really works all the time properly. Small note: Please don't double post, just edit your post if you forgot something.

 

It is most probably the ip you are using. Try:

Okay, I know this has been solved, but just a security thing.
Never ever disable your firewall.
You open up your computer to so much hacking.
Just a tip from me.

I think I have the same problem, I've tried connect to different IPs but dont work. Direct connect dont work. Refresing dont work. Restarting minecraft dont work. I have to use a VPN service which cost me money to connect to the server, all other servers worked fine. just started happening within this week.

I've had it where my university was blocking anything ItsJerryAndHarry.
My Uni also blocks any Minecraft traffic on the WiFi.
So be aware of that, if you're using a public WiFi like that.

 

Im using my home wifi. Every other server works. J&H works sometimes but extremely rare.

 

Have you tried the ips with :25565 on the end

 

If he can connect to other Minecraft servers, then the :25565 won't matter.

 

:25565 is the default port of most servers, is that correct?

What's :25565? Do I just add it after play.itsjerryandharry.com? Somehow I am able to connect to the server for a whole day today without using VPN.
