Minecraft Minecraft is back a dating website? (kill me)

Over time, I've adopted the philosophy of not caring. I'd call myself socially libertarian, but we don't need to get politics into this.

Unless something is going to drag my friends into a deep dark abyss (i.e. drugs) I don't give a shit what they do. I implore you all to do the same and worry about your own beliefs and apply them to your own lives.

So let's say I have a friend that has an MC girlfriend. Would I myself have one? No, because I believe that love is incomplete without the element of sensual touch, which you obviously can't do in game. But that's subjective, and my friend's business is technically none of my business, and because love is a subjective thing, my judgement is null and void.

Now of course, if your friend asks you for your advice, by all means, tell them what you believe.

There's good online dating, and bad online dating.

The people that just come on, ask for mc sex, say stuff like 'Any1 wanna be my gf??', that's the bad online dating.

The good online dating is the people that actually have a relationship, actually feel like the only thing that separates them from each other is distance. I think the only thing that keeps me from online dating is distance. I just don't think a long-distance relationship isn't right for me.

We can't make other peoples choices. If they truly love each other, then it's okay.

 

I 100% agree with this. I'm currently in a relationship, which I'm actually truly happy in. And yes, I've seen his face, I've heard his voice, and we honestly talk everyday, and almost everyday on ts. And this might sound cheesy, but I truly love him.

I have to say, it's really stupid to date without hearing someone's voice and seeing someone's face. But it's okay if you've met because of Minecraft. I know many people who met trough a game, and some of them are even married now. I think it's honestly an amazing thing if you can say that you've met trough a game, and ended up married. I don't say that this will happen to everyone, but I think it's awesome.

Anyways, it's stupid to enter a relationship without even knowing the person that well. But if you love someone, then you love someone. It's not like dating an anime character, because there is actually a human being behind that screen (could also be a 59 year old man). Anyways, I hope you get my point.

Hm, e-dating is shameful (which I don't really know why), but if they catch feelings ignoring them would hurt them more than to tell the person their true intentions.

I see you have your own opinions and that's alright, but what isn't okay is ridiculing on what they like to do. Like smashing their heads is kinda too far because that isn't your life and you shouldn't be stressing over it.

 

Two guys I know are dating and they haven't even skyped. I'm worried for both of them because I fear that they are dating a phisher or some kidnapper

Edit: Looking through this, there is a problem loving someone through a laptop. Giving your phone, address, and personal stuff to keep to that person isn't fine. You never know, you may love a boy/girl wearing a cute skin, but it's a 49 year old man. Even if you skipped there are always voice changers.

Meh, I don't really see it...I have a friend who is dating someone on mc, but they Skype and stuff, but its really cute to hear that people are dating online and stuff...Because people discovered more ways of finding love. There may be stuff wrong with it, but you don't need to make a thread about saying how much you hate it...That might be rude for people who actually online date...

Online dating is good for others, but it wouldn't prove that its safe to do.

Look the world around you again, we still have corrupted people. In online dating, alot of people or a few in your location gets scammed. Love Scams, the person will slowly date you, chat you until he/she gets your trust, then they will ask cash and will never reply again. Online dating is literally dangerous if you're too positive that nothing bad will happen in online dating.

I have to admit its really funny when sex clubs were still allowed, there will be those relationship thing when the player ask you to be in a relationship then 10 minutes later you ignore each other.

Other than that, if your gutt tells you that you really love the person you just met online, go and do it. Yeah break-ups will happen, but its worth it experiencing being with someone :)

I guess it's really up to them to judge, although we must be careful. If they're happy doing it, and they know it's safe, then it's probably fine.

I have no problem with people dating on minecraft unless it's 6 year old kids loving eachother or a 17 yr old man likes a 7 yr old child.

I dated a guy on minecraft for a year and everyone had a problem with it cause my ex had a learning disability. Disability or not, I loved him dearly. But I was at that breaking point when I was done with the criticisum, I broke up with him.
People are just rude. Everyone is equal, disabled or not.

 

I will admit I did it. I don't like it now though. I'd rather have someone I can see, hangout with, and do all of those things with in real life. But it's their life, their decisions, and we cannot control what they do. I'm more happy with a relationship in real life as I currently am, but some people may just want to date online.

If you're talking about the one people who are like "nice skin let's date" or "123 to be my girlfriend/boyfriend" then yeah, that's a different story. But when they skype, facetime(or facetime on skype) and teamspeak, then that's not as bad.

Anyways, I don't have a problem with online dating but I feel like there is little to no point. It's almost 100% to have face to face interaction with dating. You can go out places, You can hug (i don't know whatever you people do), watch a movie together (in real life), other stuff. Now don't get me wrong I don't mind about online dating, I just feel like there is no point at all.
