(Big pictures warning, click away now if you have a bad PC.) Hey everybody, Star here! I thought I would take the time to make a thread featuring a detailed tour of Rogue, because most people didn't get to see the full thing during Gala 7, and for the sake of preserving the memory of one of J&H's oldest peaceful survival factions. Without further ado, let's get into it! We start our tour at the Rogue Church of Frogs. This church was built in 2014 as a place of worship for a meme known as "Doge". However, Dogeism faded out by 2016 as it was deemed "undank", and it was renovated into the frog-worshiping space it is today. Spoiler: Inside the Church of Frogs A wall featuring a list of some Rogue members back in 2014 (incomplete) The rabbit, Sandy, who guards the church. Rabbits have been Rogue's mascot animal since 2016, after one (Truffle, more on him later) was spotted hopping around among the ruins. Behind the church is a 13-story building (nicknamed Trump Towers by @MorcovTheHusky ) which initially served as a nether wart farm before getting a complete overhaul in July. It is now serves many purposes, including a museum, office, and the official location of J&H's own Star Radio! The left side of the building has floors meant to emulate various biomes. The "building" side includes a library and offices. I could show you what every floor has to offer, but it's best experienced on one's own time. To the left of the tower is Rogue's farming district. Spoiler: More about the farming district Rogue waterfall Rogue sheep farm, home to many varieties of sheep. A sink. Rogue windmill, built by @John_0696 in 2016 The closed-off Rogue mines. Back to the residential area, we have the Rogue Public Pool! This pool includes chairs, shade, a hot tub, and even some palm trees, and is kept perfectly clean with the help of trained squids. Not to worry, they don't bite. They feed on dirt and bacteria in the pool, leaving it sparkling clean! This area is also where the 256-block tall sugarcane stalk grows, which I made for shits and giggles one day. To the left of the pool is the Gallade Pub and Club. A house-turned club where you can either relax and have a few drinks with friends, or head to the basement and dance the night away. Spoiler: Inside the Gallade Club First floor + Truffle No those aren't stripper poles, they hold up the tables. The club and bar. Apologies for the double post, but the forums caps out at 20 images. I'd like to ask a mod to merge my two posts if they can. Here's part 2: Up the hill is the building made for Gala 4 back in 2014. It includes a closed bar, a DJ table, a Minecart ride and a gameshow area. The roof has pixel art of Mario on top of it. Spoiler: More of the Gala 4 building The main building. The quiz area. The lighthouse, which uses a beacon to alert oncoming boats. Near the home of Mr. @dmuds house is a deep hole that leads to a very interesting place. A small underground settlement known as the town of Bedrock. So named because it's at Bedrock level, this town started out as an emerald mine, but due to there being many monsters in the caves, many of the workers decided to stay where they were in a safe community, than risk their lives trying to get back to the surface. Back at dmud's house we find the entrance to the Pasteacon Underwater Transportation Tunnel, or P.U.T.T. This is a fairly short underwater tunnel that takes us to our next stop. If you look out into the blue that surrounds this tunnel, you might catch sight of a guardian! On the other side of the tunnel is the Gala 5 building, also from 2014. This structure was made by the late JoeyBACONbacon, and was renovated into an amusement zone in 2016 for Gala 7. There are 4 different areas: An ice rink, an indoor trampoline made of slime blocks, a functioning giant piano activated by pressure plates, and a small archery zone (requires a bow).
The dark shadow you must have noticed comes from an unfinished airship in the sky, known as the "Star Destroyer". Construction began in 2014, but it was never finished. If you don't have the ability to fly, you can use this stream of water to get to the top of it.
Front. Back.
We end our tour back at my house to enjoy some cake. As you can see my home is in the shape of a gift box, and although small, is very cozy. This is also where we meet the final bunny, Patches. The sassiest, fuzziest, most adorable rabbit I've ever known. That concludes our tour of Rogue. If you want to check it out for yourself, the coordinates are roughly x: 9670 and z: 9500. If I'm online you can teleport to me too if you're too lazy to use your legs.
