I have noticed that the thread Post a Picture of Yourself... is biased. Let me elaborate Let's say I post a picture on the thread, and I get 12 likes ok... then a staff member or a well known member who posts a picture gets atleast 25 likes. I'm guessing this has to do with me not being a well known member or having a staff position. I just really wanted to get this off my chest because it irritates me. EDIT: that title though. massive screw up
That's generally how it goes, in respect the the entire forums, more well-known members receive more likes and less-known members don't get as many.
I can see where you are coming from. But personally, I don't care if people are staff or well known. I like posts based on if I enjoyed them or if they brought something to my attention. Plus, you're a good looking person so I wouldn't worry about it c:
Of course a "popular" person is going to get more likes, friends like to give friends likes. It's the same on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, or any other website.
Just because you are not popular now, and your posts on threads don't get likes or comments ect does mean you are not worse than any of us. When I joined the forums I had no idea what to say I didn't want to give my input because I didn't want to be shut down for being the new guy. As long as you post and like others you make friends and that's what this is about making friends. So don't be down about likes. You will be up in the hundreds soon enough because you look like a pretty cool guy to me! :)
Don't see how popularity should be a big concern, You can also edit titles of threads, by the way. Click the "Edit tools" that's at the top right (I think).
