Hello Everyone i have some impotent news to talk about! i have given my little brother my laptop to play on for about 3 months now and he loves playing minecraft his favorite server would most definitely be itsjerryandharry! and he has come across a game called craft roulette! the problem with this game type is it is a lot like chat roulette where praetors and people with messed up minds go to find other people and either "chat' or try to get nude photos i don't think it is healthy for this game mode to be up at all my little brother has adventured into this game mode and people who are all marked as "stranger" just like Chatroulette and your skin is changed (as im told by my little brother) so you have no way of reporting the player if there harassing or if they are posting bad content like porn websites and trying to get people to further chat on a app called kik where then they ask for nudes or other photos of yourself now after him playing for 3 months i have check over all the chat logs and i have found awful content on there such as websites to porn and kik usernames i have also noticed the language of my little brother increase of bad language. im not happy with this server type i request that it be shut down or alternated to what it is suppose to be a Craft or build roulette not a chat roulette the language and actions on Craft Roulette is absolutely vulgar and i hope no owner of a big server for CHILDREN to play on would promote something like this Thank you for reading my post and i hope we can fix this problem ~GGgaming Have a good one note: yes you have a plugin that blocks urls so how did he get a url your plugin is broken note2: the url i used in the test was just gobalyguk u dont know what it is so dont ask me why i used it.
Well, the game does warn you of what could happen in the lobbies. Plus, if you got a little brother, I wouldn't suggest him...to play this game...as this stuff happens. I don't know if staff are able to track down who said the things you're talking about, but again, there are signs in the main lobby that warn you of what could happen. Also, there are other games that...are fun, y'know? CR is just one of them.
You're not answering his question, he pointed out that Craft Roulette is promoting Chatroulette, and Chatroulette is a place full of inappropriate content and users. The sign says "Enter at own risk" but it never said that Chatroulette is inappropriate. But again not a lot of players play Chatroulette, I'm neutral with this.
I meant that it doesn't warn the user about Chatroulette not Craftroulette. And that it's promoting Chatroulette.
i got excited for a second craftroulette isn't promoting chatroulette in any way. nowhere in the lobby nor actual rooms does it say to actually go to chatroulette or omegle. also, you and/or your parents should speak to your little brother about internet safety, i.e not opening links from untrusted sources or giving out private information, especially if these links are linked to some pornographic website or a place where someone could steal your information.
o i never seen that sign there saying enter at your own rick BUT do you think a 8 year old would go into and game and want to read all the signs no not really they just want to play the "crafting" game my brother know about internet safety. im am bringin this up for other children. and besides what kind of owner would want there players to be at risk a sign saying enter at your own risk dose NOT protect anyone in anyway this game mode needs to be rethought about why not change it into a build battle or something to do with crafting not give kids the chance to be at risk think about it its kinda messed up if you think about it.
If ya want it to be changed, then post a suggestion. lol I do get where you're coming from with the inappropriate content in this game, but again, no one is being forced to play it. For real, there are other games on IJAH.
The server itself is PG-13. That minigame would probably be one of the worse ones with chat, right next to parkour/creative 1.
