Hey Guys! Now I know probably majority of us now-a-days have Mobile/Cell phones. In fact, I'm using one right now (BTW my reception is rubbish now). So, what have been your experiences with phones? Any good or bad? Funny? Share with everyone your stories. Chat away!
Alright, I have a pretty funny story I would say so myself c: So, last year, I got an iPhone 5c ( a yellow one ) and everything was well and fine, until one day, I dropped it on the floor. When I picked it up, it was completely smashed, so I got it repaired 1 month later. The screen repair was $124. The next day, I was using my newly repaired phone, and I dropped it, and it smashed, again. So, that was $124 down the drain. Woops... xD ( I got a new iPhone, being an iPhone 5S (Gold) )
@Yommii I have had the same kind of problem. I used to own a Sony Xperia Z1 and it was rubbish. It stopped working and had to go into repair twice (wasn't my fault) and forever I had problems. I blame the sales guy because he stupidly talked me into it. The day I got my new iPhone 6s Plus (The Z1 was huge so now I'm used to big phones) was an amazing day, except I forgot to get a new Sim Card and couldn't use it for a day.
So this isn't my story, but a story of a friend of mine. To prove to his mom that he was responsible enough for a phone, she got him a piece of wood that was as small as a phone. Every night, she would inspect it for damage and sometimes throughout the day she would randomly ask where his "phone" was. Yeahhh. He ended up loosing the wooden block.
My current phone is an iphone 5. Yup. I'm asking for one of the newest Samsung phones for my birthday, because... Everyone in my family except 1-2 people excluding me have an iphone. Imo, the Samsung brand seems to be better than apple, but what do I know.
This is a myth that went around my school a few years ago. One of the teachers put a supposedly 'indestructible' case on his phone, and ran over it with his truck. The case snapped in half, but the phone was in perfect condition. Personally, I don't believe it. My phone is a iPhone 5c (blue) that's probably nearly four years old at this point. It works okay, but I don't think its gonna last much longer.
So 2 years ago I got an iPhone 5s Space Grey and I'd say it was a phone which I've used a lot. I never had any problems with it, until the last few weeks, it didn't want to charge. The charging port got broken, I don't really know what happened, but I could barely charge it. I wasn't allowed to move my phone at all to make it charge. But yeah, around a week ago I got a new phone, the iPhone 6s Silver. Right now, it's probably 100x better then my old phone. I'll be having this phone for another 2 years since my contract ends in 2 years.
i got my first smart phone in 5gth grade (i think it was?? or sixth.) and it was a samsung aviator. it was good for the first year, and the second year was horrible. it was slow, it would freeze up all the time, and it was just shitty. i got a iphone 5s in before going into 7th grade, and it was a good phone, but the battery was pretty bad. i had it repaired a lot. shattered it, then my mom threw it at a door and the screen popped off (long story), and i cracked it again, then finally the screen came off when i dropped it in walmart. now i have the iphone 6s rose gold and i love it very much
Androids can be pretty prone to acting up more than iOS due to it being open source. Did you try flashing a Custom ROM or putting in a new battery?
I know when I used to own Android phones they gave me quite a lot of trouble. I like my iPhone because it is simple whilst mostly reliable. So many people have also told me to jailbreak my phone but I prefer to have less control over my phone - it's less work.
