what is this youtube material design crap.png
This pile of garbage is what YouTube calls "Material Design."
Why does this exist? Who will want to use this trash? Who the hell made this trash?
No. You're wrong. Flat UI is an ugly pile of bull feces covered in cow puke.
For those who aren't web designers, here's an example of Flat UI.

    Beautiful isn't it?
    Ha, ha, ha...NO!
All it takes to make a flat ui is a ton of rectangles with and without rounded borders.. That's it. I'm not joking, that's it. That's the essential toolkit for making an Flat UI.
Why? Because drawing rectangles in MS Paint is TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTALLY good web design!
Wait, I've got an idea for IJAH with a Flat UI!
    Here it is!

There's instructions on how to enable this garbage here.

This video sums up Flat UI.

    TL;DR Flat UI = Cancer.

I like how you took the time to make a huge thread just because YouTube has a ui that you don't find perfect

actually the J&H website mostly fits in the flat UI guidelines.

Ehh, this is a personal preference one I guess. I prefer flat elements, rather than the 'life-like'
skeuomorphic design we had in previous versions of websites/software (iOS 6 anyone?). But I don't get myself too caught up in the design unless it is very counter-intuitive.
