Star Wars Predictions for the future!

Hello everyone! Welcome one and all...to the star wars..prediction thread!
Note: There will 99.99999% be spoilers in this thread to all the star wars movies, so watch out.
I warned you.


This thread is basically for star wars fans like myself, who want to predict about what will happen in the future of star wars. You can talk about Rogue 1, but we basically already know how it's going to turn out, as we've all most likely seen episodes 4,5, and 6. I'm aiming for peeps like myself to predict about what will happen in episodes 8 and 9, and some unanswered questions about episode 7. Feel free to comment on my predictions, and even create your own.

My prediction for Rey's backstory:
Now, let's go off of what we know.

• Kylo apparently killed Han. (I think otherwise, but this is what they want us to believe.)
• Rey is strong in the force.
• Luke is in exile because of Ben Solo's betrayal of his new Jedi Temple.
• Leia can use the force (to some extent).
• Chewbacca will most likely stick with Rey in the future movies.

Lastly...

• Rey was left on Jakku by an unknown person, and we the audience are left to theorize about who her parents might be.

Now, here's what I think happened.
First off, due to Rey's vision with the temple being destroyed, and her seeing someone die, I think that she was at the event when it happened. Now, she must have been a young girl since we don't know her age 100%, but I am just theorizing.

Alright, moving on. We know that the reason Rey is on Jakku is because an unknown figure dropped her off there. Now, this figure is anonymous, but the huge theory is that it is Rey's parent(s). I think otherwise.

I believe that Kylo was the one that brought Rey to Jakku, because he didn't want Snoke to know about her existence. Let me explain.

• I am going by the asusmption of Rey being Luke's daughter, which is probably the most likely choice.

Going on, Rey is Luke's daughter, so she has to have some connection with the force, which she does. So, she sticks around with him at his new temple. But, she does not undergo any training, because Luke believes that Jedi do not need to be trained at that young of an age. So, she just sticks around.

Rey and Ben don't really talk that much, but Ben can sense how powerful she really is. Ben doesn't tell Luke this though, and surprisingly enough, Luke cannot sense it himself. This is because he is focused on his padawans.

Ben ultimately gets turned to the dark side, and inhabits the Knights of Ren. They then proceed to kill every member of Luke's academy, until Luke cannot take anymore of the betrayal. He goes into exhile.

Luke thinks that Rey had died, because he cannot sense her presence anymore. That is because Kylo, using the darkness he now inhabited, had made it nearly impossible for anyone to sense her existence.

Kylo did not kill Rey, but took her with him. He had a plan envisioned.

Kylo wanted to stow Rey away on a planet where he knew she'll be safe. A planet merely unknown for a while, except for the Battle of Jakku with the rebels against the old empire. Kylo knew she would be safe here.

Kylo did this, and we go to the scene where Rey is crying while the ship flies away. She is crying because she is alone now. The plan I spoke of earlier is somewhat connected to Darth Vader's ultimate plan for the empire (I see this working out because Kylo bases himself off of Vader). Vader originally wanted to betray the emperor, and rule the galaxy for himself with his very own Padawan. This is true because of what Vader had said to Obi-Wan in episode 3, and what he had been saying to Luke through episode 5-6. He wanted to overthrow the Emperor himself.

This is what Kylo wanted to do. He secretely hated Snoke, and is afraid of him. This is true because of how Kylo talks/acts around Snoke in episode 7. He wanted to keep Rey in a place where he knew she would be safe, and a place that Snoke wouldn't think to look. Jakku. He wanted to keep Rey there until he had contrived a plan to train her. This ultimately didn't happen because of the events of episode 7.

There you have it. I believe that Rey is Luke's daughter, and that Kylo ultimately wanted to train her for his own good. To overthrow Snoke, and rule the First Order, similar to Vader's intentions.


Now, my predictions for episode 8 and 9:
I believe that there will be a double turn.
I believe that Rey will be captured by Kylo once again, but with Luke and the resistance as a whole, trying to find our new hero. During her time with Kylo, he would start to feel sorry for him, as he manipulated her. She would forget the fact the he killed han...or did he? I also believe that Kylo...did not...Kill Han. Han..was the one that turned on the sabre, thus saving Kylo. I believe this because Kylo said the following in the movie:

(May be a little off, but this sums it up)
Kylo was referring to killing his own father, Han Solo. Now, Han immediately knew about what he meant, so he said this, in response to Kylo's help call.

Han then ignited the sabre, and fell into the abyss. I think Han did this because he knew Kylo didn't have the willpower to kill him, and that Kylo would only suffer more if he did not do the deed; due to Snoke. SO, Han saved his son, for the time being.

Going back to my episode 8-9 predictions.
Rey would think that Kylo killed Han. But, she would forget that at the moment, because Kylo would be manipulating her. Kylo would drive her crazy, to the point where anger filled her head. She had little to no training, so she did not know how to cope with this anger. It conflicted her.
It would get to the point where Rey would be begging to kill Kylo, because: she remembered he "killed" han, and two, he had been teasing her, like Sidious had been teasing Luke to kill Vader in Episode 6.
Finally, after days of manipulation, Kylo knew he had done enough. That's when Luke and the resistance arrived, capturing Kylo and saving Rey.

Luke would talk to Kylo privately, as Rey would talk to Poe and Fin (Who survives his injuries btw). Luke would talk some sense into kylo, and say that with Luke around, Snoke wouldn't hurt him anymore. Then Luke said he felt Han's death, but it wasn't a bad feeling. Luke could sense Kylo did not do the deed, and he would bring that up, making Kylo feel more comfortable. Luke would bring back Ben Solo.

Rey, however, would still be consumed by her hatred for the former Kylo Ren, and would be begging to kill him. But, she would act normal, as she knew she had to at the moment. She made up lies about what happened to her, to make her friends feel sorry for her.

When Luke turned Kylo back, he could feel the darkness in him shriveling down slowly but surely. Ben immediately went back to his mother, who still thought he killed Han, until Luke talked about the situation. At the same time, Snoke could feel Kylo betray him through the force, so he started calling out to Rey.

Eventually, Rey would be consumed by Snoke's mind-games. She would stay inside for weeks, trying to fight them off with the anger she possessed. Snoke by this time found out about Kylo's plan, and used that to manipulate her. Then Rey snapped when she saw Ben.

She attacked him, brutally hurting him. Luke, seeing his daughter like this, could already see that Snoke had been manipulating her. That's when the first order arrived, took the rebels by shock, and Snoke took rey for himself. Then Episode 8 would end.


Episode 9:
Not much to go into detail, but Ben Solo and Rey (Idk her villain name) would face off at the end (Since they faced off as different roles in episode 7 to start out the new trilogy, they would end it with being on different sides). Finn and Poe would support the air fight (I think Finn will learn to fly an x-wing), and Chewbacca, still saddened by Rey's turn, would be Leia's bodyguard.

I think Luke and Leia will survive this trilogy, but get killed off (most likely) in the next. I believe Luke will be a force ghost though :p


TL;DR
I think Rey is Luke's daughter.
I believe Han killed himself to save Kylo.
I think Rey and Kylo will have a double turn in episode 8.
Rey and Kylo will fight in the end of episode 9.



These have been my predictions for the future star wars movies. I know, it's long, but I had so much to say. If you read them all, you are amazing.

my prediction is Rey will get her hand cut off in the 2nd episode of her saga much like Anakin and Luke did

I completely agree with you about Luke being Rey's father even tho I would have loved Rey being a KENOBI but as we all know that is literally impossible ... since Obi-Wan was truly a follower of the Jedi Code which is the thing that tries to prevent Jedi Knights like Anakin from falling to the dark side.

First of all I have new news on the topic of Leia's training, on a new comic Star Wars book (which is canon) She is trained by Luke between the sixth and seventh movie for around a month, so Leia can somewhat use the force and a lightsaber.

Anyways lets get on topic predictions on Episode 8:
Here I think that Luke and Rey would have trained with Chewbacca staying with them on Ahch-To, (planet Luke was hiding on) but while that was happening the Resistance would get greatly damaged by the coordinated attacks of The First Order.Both Rey and Luke would sense this and Rey would want to help his friends Finn,Poe and Leia.Here she would leave her training in order to help the Resistance (similar to what Luke did in the fifth movie) and Luke would go with her.They would have an all out attack on the First Order but it would a failed mission, Luke and Rey would be stuck in The First Order's base. They would make their way to Kylo and the new character that has been introduced .They would have a big fight, Rey would be balancing her attacks and using her lightsaber skills perfectly keeping up with Kylo's slashes but Luke would be overwhelmed after a few minutes and would start to make small mistakes.The battle would finish with Rey injuiring Kylo and the new character injuiring and even possibly killing Luke.


Thats pretty much it for me @TheRealSmg explained everything about Rey which I %100 agree with(but i cri everitim Rey Kenobi rip)
