What are you're experiences of hacks?

What are your previous experiences of hacks that u have used and what consequences u had to face? (Please don't post the client name)

 

I use Huzini everyday for xray to find spawners on ItsJandH

 

i think hacks are great i get what i want when i need it and how much i want it and i get very OP.

I don't face any consequences, when I get banned, I like to alt. :)

 

I used hacks once, but it wasn't for any good reason. These were days when I was a... different person. The only server I ever used hacks on was on Mineplex. The reasoning behind this was because I was so irritated at the fact that people were talking trash over a game about squares. More specifically, on a server that was made for kids younger than 13.

I decided to use my client against them, and of course, I was flamed. I will admit, I got a lot of reactions, but I didn't record it or anything. I just wanted to see how these "thug life" and "badass" PvPers felt when someone invades their gameplay and makes it less enjoyable (sort of what they are doing).

It was no valid excuse, and I was banned from Mineplex for 30 days. I didn't mind the ban, but I pretty much never used hacks again after that. It doesn't feel right to cheat in my opinion. :)

I replied to this thread with my experiences, but I'll try to explain it more into detail here.
Yes, I have 'hacked' before in my Minecraft career. Note that this happened 3-4 years ago, and it was before I joined this community.
I used XRay in a Walls mini-game. Yup.
I think that I used it more than once, until I realized that I was putting myself at a risk to get banned. That's when I stopped.

Lesson:
Don't use hacks, just don't. They may seem fun due to the winning, but all in all, you are ruining another player's experience, and at the same time, you are putting yourself at risk to be severely punished. Fun at first, but try having fun when you're banned. ;)

 

When I started, I might have been the person that hacked since I was new. But in reality, when I first started minecraft, I couldn't move because I never used WASD and was confused why I couldn't use the arrow keys :P But anyway, once I did become better and more knowledgeable about minecraft, I got the common sense not to.

We went on a few pvp servers, and only did 1v1s, to not interfere with other player's gameplay.

so we were playing for a bit, xander only using KA and Speed while I was testing spider, speed, derp, trigger, fast eat, auto eat, no slowdown, the list goes on.
Xander toggled off for a bit, I didn't.
Guess who was halfway up a wall when the other got banned? (spoiler; I never got banned)

edit: the above story was on parapvp I believe (or similar). staff there either didn't exist or chatted in lobby for the most part.
