So by the looks of it, you are saying that you are unable to join the server and receive a world render error message.

I would suggest the following:

Re-install Minecraft.

To do this (the right way) (on a pc, otherwise I don't really know):

1) Go to the Start Menu and search for "%appdata%"

2) In appdata, right click ".Minecraft" an delete that folder. (You may want to make copies of world saves and texture packs so you can re-install them later)

3) Go to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > Minecraft > Uninstall Minecraft

To re-install Minecraft now, just go to Minecraft.net.

To re-install texture packs and saved worlds, run Minecraft once, close, go to "%appdata%" and drag items into the appropriate folder.
