How to upload profile pictures if they're too large of a file!

Hey! So I decided to make a thread about this since it might be a problem for people who want to have desired pictures for their profile picture, but are limited because the quality of the picture may be too high or the file is simply too large!



If your picture is a large file with the extension .png, you can always convert it!

You can convert to to a .jpg file. If you don't know how to do this, you can also do it the dumb way. You guessed it, microsoft paint (or any other photoshop software you use in case you have a mac which doesn't come with it).

Right click the file and open it with paint.



You can then export the image as a .jpg file by clicking file, then hovering over "Save as" and selecting "JPEG picture."



You'll notice that the jpeg file is much smaller than the png file, but still offers the same resolution.



If the picture is under 50 KB, you can safely upload it! If not, then you may want to lower the resolution.
