LolNope. If I had one, it'd most likely be "SmolSkel"
I'm not going to hate on the LGBT community, inthat, I'm proud of them. Coming out and saying that you are something that is not orthodox, and look where they got! Noticed! Religious leaders saying that it's okay. Homosexual weddings are now legal. I mean, what can I be but proud?

However, my problem is just that. What does LGBT stand for? As you all hopefully know, it means:
    L- Lesbian
    G- Gay
    B- Bisexual
    T- Transgender

Lesbians and gay virtually mean the same, except for opposite genders. This is also known as homosexuality.
Bisexual means to like people of either gender, regardless of what you are.
I'm only looking into the sexuality part of LGBT, so I'm not going to go into Transgender. However, I am not trying to ignore it.

I want to propose LGBTAP+. I know it's a mouthful, but hear me out.

I understand that there is LGBT+, but to me it still focuses on LGBT, barely giving anything to the other major ones. I identify as asexual, which is less known than the others, and pansexuality. These I feel are less acknowledged, but still fairly common. I honestly find it bull that they are not represented. (Now I'm going to start controversial stuff, so get your keyboards ready) Look over here at homosexuality getting two full letters, and here asexuality and pansexuality not even getting letters. Here's how I imagine it going down.
Just the other day, I told my dad that I didn't like anyone in real life, and he simply told me that that'll change. Like, WTF? If these sexualities have the same problems as others in LGBT, why aren't they in it?

How I get discriminated against(Using real life situations!):
    · Who do you like? (No one) What? You have to like SOMEONE! C'mon, tell me. (High Schooler)
    · Now say your boy/girlfriend were getting teased, how would you react? (But what if we don't associate as-)Oh, you silly kiddo, you like someone. Are you just afraid to say?(Adult)
    · You slut! (Yes, even though I've never dated, I am the sluttiest person around!)(kid)
    · You're just doing it for attention! Surely you've dated before!(High Schooler)
    · Oh, you will date someone next week, just see!(Adult)
    · Sure...(adult)

So, as you can see, I don't get "bullied" for fair reasons. You would think that choosing a sexuality that even a bacterium can identify as would be okay, not cared about. Well, to hell with that! I get bullied as much as anyone would who identifies as something that's not straight.

I do feel as if I should date someone to find out if I enjoy it, or if it crashes and burns. However, me being me, I'm in the minority here, as always! It's kind of ironic. I'm in the minority of a minority.

On a serious note, I just wanted to make it clear that
    1) I'm underrepresented, along with other sexualities, such as pansexual.
    2) I think that LGBT+ should be changed.
    3) Adults should be taught all of the different sexualities, along with kids.
    4) You should have an open mind to everything.

EDIT: the poll says "specialties", I know...
I'm not changing it, it's there forever now.
Staff, don't change it, if you can. I like it.

Aren't Pansexual, bisexual, and polysexual all the same things? And how can heterosexuality be unrepresented? Thats not a minority or anything someone has trouble with. Honestly I think the more letters added the more silly the whole thing seems to become for people. Thats at least what I have heard from my friends at school after the community expanded the letters to LGBTQIA+ community. The title and letter seems to be getting a bit redundant and not to sound mean but it seems like we are just making thing up now which don't even exist or are just repeats of other sexualities. As for the asexual thing, I don't know if its that big of a deal. I wouldn't really call those insults just seem like casual talk between middle schoolers. Im not sure how old you are but im guessing "Dated" is a much different term for you and your friends than what it really means and represents. Unless you are in college I doubt anyone in your grade has really "Dated." So I wouldn't sweat it to much. But if you end up being asexual and don't find any attrition towards anyone then its whatever, plenty of people are and no one will really ever know the difference.

No, only polysexual and pansexual are the same things.
Bisexual: attracted to both men and women.
Pansexual/polysexual: not limited in sexual choice with regards to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.

I sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners. People say to me that a person being a helicopter is Impossible and I’m fucking retarded but I don’t care, I’m beautiful. I’m having a plastic surgeon install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me “Apache” and respect my right to kill from above and kill needlessly. If you can’t accept me you’re a heliphobe and need to check your vehicle privilege. Thank you for being so understanding.

I sexually identify as a single, Pringle, ready to mingle. Ever since I was a potato I dreamed of being thin sliced, covered in disgusting oil then heated in a medium oven until reaching climax at the micro second of golden-browness. People bully me, and say things like “what the fuck, you aren’t a Pringle”, but I know deep down they are just jealous of my inner beauty. I have already started hiding in cylinders all day, and now im improving my crunchiness by regularly burning my sides on the stove. I want you guys to respect my natural ability to instantly satisfy low salt carb cravings, and if you don’t you are oppressing me, and you should check your diabetes type. Thank you for being so understanding.

Honestly, I think that some people in the LGBT community are solely trying to get attention now, there's no need for special treatment, all of us are equal humans, none of us lesser than another. There's nothing really special about being homosexual or bisexual, it's just a goddamn sexual orientation. I don't mean to insult everyone in that community, but there are people in the community who want to be treated special, as if they are higher than the rest of us, and it's annoying.

LGBT+ covers all of it? While asexuals(like myself) and pansexuals are growing in numbers, I don't think that it reasons for yet another title to confuse people with. LGBT is the majority of their community, and the + adds on to all the smaller innerworkings of the LGBT society. LGBT has been engraved in media, and now is a make or break time for it, in means of public support. If they mess up or confuse people, that will draw them away, making for everyone in the LGBT community to be "underrepresented".

So just because the title of the LGBT+ community is not LGBTAP+ you feel underrepresented? It is just a name. That's why the + is there as @Stellarite said, to represent all the sexualities that were not included in the title.

I do fully understand that there is the +, but there are only seven or so main sexualities, including poly, pan, and bi, which are fairly simular and hetero, which is supported by most. But it almost seems neglectful to put 2 things for homo and nothing for poly/pan or asexual.
The two P's, which are different, could be put together into the one P. And that leaves the one A.
A plus seems kind of ridiculous, when you can just put two letters.

How Poly and pan are similar (taken directly from http://amplifyyourvoice.org/u/kevz/2013/05/31/seven-types-of-sexuality/)
Polysexuality- Is the sexual attraction to more than one gender but do not wish to be known as bisexual as it implies that their are only two binary sexes, do not confuse this with pansexuality (Pan meaning All) and (Poly meaning many).
Pansexuality- Is the sexual attraction towards people regardless of gender also known as omnisexuality, some pansexuals refer to themselves as gender blind as to them gender is insignificant in determining whether they will be sexually attracted to others.

So... why put a plus for two letters? After all LGBT is supposed to support sexualities other than that of heterosexual.

Also, @NickerPan, I want to bring up a point.
    Heterosexual- supported by auto correct
    Homosexual- supported by auto correct
    Lesbian- supported by auto correct
    Gay- supported by auto correct
    Transgender/transsexual- supported by auto correct
Polysexual- NOT supported by auto correct
Pansexual- NOT supported by auto correct
Asexual- NOT supported by auto correct

A year ago, none of these would be in auto correct. Now they are.

All of them are supported on my autocorrect. From my point of view, why would a community change its name just for 2 letters? If they did that, people might start getting confused.

After doing some research on 'pansexuality' isn't it very similar or basically the same as being bisexual?
Pansexual - not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.
It's very similar to being bisexual. My sexual orientation is bisexual and I'm transgender. Without trying to offend anyone, wouldn't being pansexual just be a more open minded version of being bisexual? Being pansexual means that sex, gender and sexuality do not have an impact on who you have feelings for. Isn't this part of being a decent human being? For example, a homosexual man may date a FTM bisexual transgender and he could be completely fine with this as he is open minded about other peoples sexuality and vise versa. So the point I'm trying to understand is that you're trying to change the term "LGBT+" even though you're basically (I know its not exactly the same) bisexual just more open minded about others? Sorry this is just really confusing me, I mean no hate towards you or any others I'm just curious and baffled by this. Please correct me if I'm wrong about ANY of this.

Also isn't transsexualism an offensive term? That's what I was told but now someone is the LGBT+ community is using it! This is why I get annoyed by this stuff because it is so contradicting. I will support LGBT+ members but can you guys please make an official, universal, lists of what we should or shouldn't call you. If not that's fine but don't get to upset if I call you something you don't like, because chances are I know someone who doesn't mind being called it.

    @kawaiitoast
I also don't see how autocorrect has anything to do with this???
I also don't see why more letters should be added. I honestly think LGBT+ is and of itself a mouthful. I think it should be more like HBT+ (H standing for homosexual to cover Lesbian and Gay).
