    Before I say anything,
this is not an indirect to anyone.
I've noticed this during the 2 years I've been on J&H.
If you have something negative to say,
say it. I can take it right now.

Alright it's become a bit of a nuisance, logging into J&H and into any lobby, to discover another argument/flame war. These insanely idiotic and immature flame wars are becoming ridiculous. I'll admit, I become involved due to wanting to stand up for the righteous one in the entire thing. Eventually, it ends. But it comes to the point where a Mod gets involved and it's pointless. For those of you that don't know, a flame war is a heated argument between two individuals (sometimes a person convinces to get more people on their side, which makes it worse) that results in those involved posting personal attacks on each other during or instead of debating the topic at hand. As well as for the forums, some forums have rules that forbid flaming. This is because the quality of conversation on a forum can be seriously degraded by a flame war. Topics can be "hijacked" by two people who would rather flame each other than discuss the topic of the thread. A flame war can also be known as a battle, fight, argument, bitch-fight, etc. But not always.

As I was saying, flame wars are what I see of the most. If the argument/flame war becomes worse & you're a bystander, I suggest you contact a mod or helper, but that's just my advice. The community on this server would be better if you wouldn't support or join sides in anything I've previously mentioned. I understand it's hard to do so, but it would help. This thread probably won't do much, or probably won't do anything. I think it's time I point this shit out.

Having debates/arguments/flame wars are something that none of us can stop, they are everywhere, Even if the staff are trying really hard to stop them. But most of the time, they are for some ridiculously stupid reason, such as politics, or "he stole my pizza, mama mia". All of these debates/arguments/flame wars have been on this server since the beginning. Keep in mind that no server is free from any sort of flame war.

Some people are just complete jerks, there's nothing you can do about that. When a jerk is bothering you or initiating a flame war, just do your best to ignore it. Being able to ignore people who get on your nerves is sometimes a tedious task, but it always pays off.

I find that it's mostly the PvP-based servers (Factions, KitPvP, etc.) that tend to have a higher amount of flame wars compared to the average server. There is nothing we can do to stop it, they will continue on until the end of time. I've even seen mods give up on trying to stop an argument because it was far too pointless. What I'm trying to say is it's good that you are willing to help stop some of these but it will be by each individual argument as the human race will always find something to argue about no matter how much we complain or how hard we try.

Being a staff member I've seen how pointless arguements can get, and there's just a point in time where you have to put your foot down and say seriously? I can reassure you that if something like that happens and you bring it to the attention of a staff member, it will be taken care of one way or another.
    ^ Well said.
There's really no possible way to prevent it, but there's always a solution to deal with it.
