Minecraft I need some help

I got a little problem relating to my render distance.
Whenever I bring my render distance up to a number like 8, it glitches out.
It's like, the screen completely glitches out. It shows random parts of the map in random order, even though I'm not close/not even looking at these parts. I provided screenshots of what it looked like on my end, and it's obvious that I'm at the main spawn area, as the owner statues are visible.

Anyone know why this is happening? Or a solution?

Note:
I tend to play minecraft in multiple computers, and this glitch seems to only happen on here.

 

I'm just going to state the obvious questions.
-Have you deleted and re-installed Minecraft? (Deleted everything Minecraft related and downloaded Minecraft again)
-Have you restarted your computer? (Restart AND Shut Down. Upon Shut Down, keep your computer shut down for at least 1 minute.)
Also, I don't know why this happens. Minecraft bugs aren't my strong suit since I haven't played the game in like 2.5 months. Best of luck Smg, hope this was some help to you. :)

I know the restarting computer thing won't work, cause I recently restarted it, and I've been having this little glitch for a while.
I'm going to see what I can do with re-installing minecraft

 

I have the same problem, just turn on VBOs in graphics settings.
