August 2012- Welcome john_0696_ to the server! =D say hi

Wow, it’s been a while now hasn’t it? 3 years of being a part of a Minecraft youtuber server, Felt like only a few days that I came to know all these people. Since that day is upon us, it is the day that I create this thread saying my thanks and remembering all the fun times I had on the ItsJerryandHarry server.

In the last anniversary thread I made, I talked about my previous experiences and didn’t really state much but rather went on and on about some of the less important things in my time on the server, so this time, I’ll explain what has happened since then. and be a bit more civil and mature about it

August 2012 was the year that I joined the ItsJerryandharry server, I was a rather awkward guy and I really didn’t get involved with the IJAH community, but let’s be honest I didn’t really see many people at the time. The server at the time was all-survival with a few small minigames thrown in, of course they were small games such as Mob arena and paintball, the type of stuff that usually comes with big server plugins. Other than that, IJAH was a much simpler server. We didn’t have in game currency or anything s that the server had now, it was all vanilla survival.

Also at the time I joined, I was a HUGE fan of jerry and Harry, and everytime they would come on I would get excited and want to see them, I was what you would call a fanboy. (Let’s face it we all were at one point xD) The only time I remember talking to them was when I complimented one of the brothers on their skin. I also was kind of a fan of XenonHD at the time because he was a friend of them and I was like OMG hes a friend :O I must say hi to him!

I really didn’t do much on the server rather than die a lot because I didn’t know how to play MC on multiplayer at the time, plus I didn’t know how to work the Factions plugin either. So I just stuck to singleplayer for a while. I still usually came on, but only to play certain minigames and such.

When the Server went through it’s first revamp in 2013, that was when I started getting into Minecraft again. I played more and more on IJAH with all the new things it had, new ranks, new spawn, a whole bunch of new minigames and a huge survival world. So I decided to gather all my old server friends and look for a new place to live. We ended up living in an abandoned mineshaft. It wasn’t the biggest faction because we didn’t have many people. So I made an account on the forums around April of 2013 and applied to be a part of Endertacos, one of the larger factions at the time. I was accepted into the faction and started building there. That was also the day I met most of the well-known server members and server staff. Such as homieboy, percussers2011 or who is now known as MorcovTheHusky , WikiRigbyDude if anyone remembers him,DWG715 or Dylan was the one who owned the faction, and many other folks. I began chatting with them and we got into a better relationship.

The forums I started being active in too, It was the only place where I was able to share my MS paint creations with people. It made me so happy that I got to chat with fellow Minecraft players.

I have had plenty of fun memories of being on IJAH survival in 2013, Lots of different things happened, like Famous youtubers visiting our minigames, Big Gala parties that the large factions would always create, and many other server memories.

Unfortunately later on that year,Endertacos was disbanded and I had to go find a new faction. Luckily, I chatted with xMisfitCow a.k.a MisfittedCow and she agreed to let me stay at bambi. I had a lot of fun times at that faction too, it was just as memorable as being in endertacos.

When my junior year in high school rolled around, that was when Survival crashed due to a memory leak. All of us lost the memories and the world we’ve grown so fond of. It was rather sad but we managed to stay strong. When that happened, I was bummed I didn’t get to be in a survival world with friends anymore, but luckily we had other minigames to keep us entertained.

Around early 2014, I started getting to the point that my old HP pavilion Desktop running Windows XP wasn’t going to do me good and that I had to start doing something to afford a new PC, It served me well, but I knew it was definitely time for an upgrade.

Fast forward to mid 2014, things started taking a bit of a turn. I met some new friends such as StarlightFox, LordeLeopard, and many other people that I can’t quite remember at this moment :p 2014 was the year that I managed to get a Job at my high school thanks to my Family and school counselors helping me out,and I got straight to work as a Custodian at my High school doing things and earning the money to buy my new PC. It was also the year I went to Disneyland and put my whole experience on the forums xD lots of fun.

Lots of things happened in 2014, such as new survival world, new minigames and many other fun things that happened. It was then by the end of the year was the most unforgettable moment that happened in my life, the day that I got my new PC. All the money I had saved over the year from working the Custodian position finally paid off. It was definitely a day to remember.

2015 was also a big year for me on IJAH and in real life. I was nearing the end of Senior year and graduation. And I was quite excited. I mostly put the server aside for Education purposes so I can finish up the year, and on June 3rd, I finally went through the Graduation ceremony and received my Diploma. C:

I spent my summer with my friends hanging out on the server and such; i also have started planning a party to celebrate my Graduation and we had a lot of fun doing that. But by the month of July, a Big moment happened to me that even though I am not a Staff member anymore, I still fondly remember.

It was a hot july morning, and I barely had woken up from having a rough night sleeping. And I logged onto Teamspeak and saw Jerry and Harry were there. I was quite happy I would talk to them, but what I Wasn’t expecting was that they actually wanted to talk to me. They told me that day that I had been accepted to be a part of the Staff team, and I was Quite Ecstatic that for the First time, I would be able to work on the server I’ve grown so fond of. I had lots of fun working on the server, Dealing with Rule breakers and socializing with other staff while forming a better relationship. Those were fun days, days I will never forget.

August then came around and I got started with College courses, I had to balance my College worktime, my job on IJAH, and personal adult responsibilities. It got a bit hectic at times because I felt that I didn’t have any personal time to just enjoy myself and play games with my friends. I mean I’m not saying I didn’t like my Staff job and such, but having to deal with Hackers, rule breakers and other players on a daily basis got annoying after a while, because with some people, they never learn.

Other than that, the Holidays rolled around and I was done with the First college semester and we all celebrated christmas. I mean sure there was some drama at the time, but we all still had fun as a community and enjoyed the holidays together. But by march, i was met with a Demotion from the Staff team. It wasn't for any bad reasons however as i am still good friends with the staff.

And now we come to today where I celebrate my 3rd year of being a part of the ItsJerryandHarry forum/server community. Now It’s time for me to say my Personal thanks to all the people that I have met in the Community.

I'm really glad to have met you last year, since then you've been one of my best friends here, which I am glad to say. Congrats on your 3rd year in this community. :)
