Ahaha, pets? Ahahaha everyone does that glitch now. It isn't worth fixing, ahahah.
No. There are some people out there that have paid for this perk, example, me.
It is VERY unfair, especially since I PAID $11 aud for it, and people don't pay anything. I was 50 cents short of a disguise cause I bought ./pet name. I don't really regret buying ./pet name, but it's sad seeing other people using a perk for free yet you sacrificed a disguise for it.
What's even sadder is this:

A mod doesn't even CARE that some people ABUSED a glitch.
I mean, Magical is a cool mod and all, but she doesn't even care that people are breaking the rules. She doesn't even give them a warning.
I know what some of you are thinking:
Map, but I use that glitch... Why you reporting this when I use it?
It's a glitch, and it is very unfair.
It also means IJAH lose money (kinda)
I used money to gain permission for that command. A lot of people don't. You may see this a not important perk, and think that this isn't important, but it is very hurtful that people abuse this glitch right when you explain it's a glitch.
I told Harvm1ester that you needed to pay before being able to name a pet, yet alc0803 goes ahead, and explains the glitch, not caring that I have explained you need to pay. I explained in the chat, it is a glitch, yet not only do both Harvm and alc abuse the glitch in front of my eyes, a couple other people do it too. xcreamypockii was one. And I know for a fact she does not have ./pet name.
Then, even though I have explained that it is a glitch, and you need to actually pay, Harvm actually has the guts to ask me, how do you get colours and stuff for your pet name.
I mean, COME ON.
So all I am really asking here, is for this pet glitch to finally be fixed.

I'll admit too, I used this glitch a LOOOOOOONG time ago. And, I stopped a LOOOOOONG time ago. I didn't really know of /pet name until about a week before I stopped. The glitch isn't as drastic as you say, Mappy. Instead of /fly for free, it'd be Templerun for free. It is a negative effect, but not as drastic as /fly for free. But, I do agree, the command should be fixed, and so should some of the moderators.

It should, cause I've seen 6 people do it today.

 

I was going to buy this perk before I learned about this, I don't use /pet often but I always include a name when I do, It's not exactly a glitch, but I think that J&H did not know that you could do this when they added the plugin, so they included it as a buy-able perk.
The simple fix to this would probably be taking the /pet name perk down from the store, because I don't think that J&H can do anything about it. I know that it would cause them to lose some money, but it would also cause less people to feel ripped off by buying this

 

It is actually not a glitch. The pet plugin had this command with it if you got it for your server. Heck, type /pet help, and you can find that command somewhere buried in there!

Uh... No one is losing money. It's just that everyone can get it for free :P

 

I lost money. I paid for the perk, yet others use it for free.

 

Agreed with Map. This is really serious. This can result/is cyber scam.

 

I honestly now feel sorry for Map, I just released in my head what he is talking about and yet figured that he has a great point. It's like trespassing, others have to pay, and you get in for free. This should be fixed like right now.
