That's the thing about Islam, their culture is also a part of the culture of other countries. Biryani is widely known as an Indian dish, and it's of Islam origins. This demonstrates how wide and diverse Islam culture can be.

 

You know as a Muslim person myself this thread is amazing.
I grew up in an Islamic family. My parents were quite religious. I was never taught things that people who are prejudice about Muslims think we do. I was never taught that Women are beneath us and that all people of other religions must me killed. People make many rumours about our prophet as well. But the thing is we have very similar beliefs to Christians and Jews. I'm a lucky person I go to a school where there are many other Muslims with me. Although my mum does get a fair bit of getting yelled at or called names (She does wear a Hijab) it is important to know that not everything you hear about things are true. Yes people are unreasonable but we just learn to ignore it.

Never believe everything you hear immediately. Anything can be false
