Just.. why? It's only a vine

So, I was scrolling through the App Store on my phone to try and find some cool new apps to install and then I come across this.

Oh my.
A whole GAME about a guy laughing at his friend Daniel's choice of footwear. Just.. why?!
It's even #15 on the top charts of the App Store!

What doesn't make sense, is that the whole game is just basically a platform where you jump block to block wearing white shoes..

You think that's all? No, that's just the official version. You can't forget these "classics":

-Flappy Damn Daniel

If you thought flappy bird was bad enough, now you can fly through Mario-esque pipes while someone shouts "DAMN DANIEL!" each time you tap.

-Damn Daniel: Two Shoes (A racing game, I think?)

I believe it's a racing game where one person plays as a black van shoe and you play as a white van shoe?

-Damn Daniel soundboard

Yeah, because a whole app is necessary so you can play "Damn Daniel" and "Back at it again with the white vans" without needing to open YouTube. Just unbelievable, Internet.

-Damn Daniel Laser Game

You hop around on block-to-block as a pair of vans while avoiding lasers. Oh dear.

-Damn Daniel Fly

Your white vans suddenly shoot springs out of them! Quick, hop across these pillars and yell "Damn Daniel!"!

-Rejected versions..?

I could not find these two on the right of the official version anywhere but the internet, so they might just be that bad. Judging by the thumbnail, I think I can tell why they have so little downloads.

 

Yeah, I agree completely with this. This specific vine is stupid imo, most popular vines are when I think about it. I'm just glad the whole 'Damn Daniel' trend is dieing down a bit. Hopefully we won't have another stupid trend like this one...

Wow, Out of all internet jokes i see on the internet, I believe this one is the most annoying. I cant really stand when people make fun of others for what they wear, Its just as ridiculous as the "What are those" meme. I understand if people like it as a joke and all and that's good, but there's a fine difference then just using as a joke, to treating it as a way of life.

Although there are Many things that i cant stand about this trend, there is actually some good that came out of this. I saw this on my local news station, Apparently the People who started this whole trend were doing some sort of charity event where they give pairs of shoes to Children suffering from terminal illnesses. It just goes to show that even the most stupidest things can shed a small amount of light.

This is just another reason to hate vines in general.

 

I'm pretty sure the spring ones and laser ones are copies of games by the games company Ketchapp, which is sad because they make pretty fun games

Actually, the whole internet for the past six months has been annoying because it's been getting worse than before.

 

Even Daniel himself doesn't seem too excited about this fame...

 

I'll take it.

Realistically, I think people need to stop making things viral and such and do something else for a change.

 

i want to bang my head for one reason:

the freaking video was shot on snapchat, not vine. on the video it self there is the captions right on it that you can tell it is snapchat
and other people keep agreeing its a vine
