Less people everyday, and there is a reason.

Less people play J&H everyday, less people play Minecraft everyday. The community is moving on, and younger kids don't play on computer games that often, and even if they did. It isn't right, they say terrible things, they swear more than needed. All i'm thinking is, "Who the h*ll raised these kids?". The old community is fading a way like paint in a damp basement, for example, these is my last year or two playing this game. The normal game is adding all these things and ruining what the game was supposed to be like. Most servers are falling apart, but J&H is still here. This server may be dying, but dying is not dead. Dying can be saved, or it can be left to rot. What will the community do, probably nothing. J&H, you are probably the only reason I still play Minecraft, and the sad truth is that less and less people come on everyday. You can change that, add some news things, and I know that takes time, and time is money. But I think it is worth it to keep the server running, and frankly, Minecraft running. This may sound overdramatic, but the world is overdramatic and cruel. This game helps us forget that. Forget our problems, but new people are ruining that. Why must those people want to ruin everybody's day on that server? Be respectful, come on! You don't have to bring the real world into a game that people are trying there hardest to get away from there problems. Just think about that.

 

What makes you think less people are playing? That is not true at all!

 

Interesting. I mean over time, a long time. But for the sake of the moment, lets assume people have started fading away. That means people will start to disappear.

 

People join and people leave, that doesn't mean less people are playing.

 

Be patient my friend, and they will start. The game is going down, that means the server goes down as well. If the base of a tower falls, the rest of the tower must fall as well.

But it has started to creak and crumble a little. So little that no one has noticed yet.

 

Maybe some people have important things like tests or something or maybe they dont just like minecraft! if they have an account they dont have to go on it EVERY day. Its their choice. If they dont like the server you cant force them to. Like im on IJAH a lot less because of my own problems. And as i said a lot of the older players might have tests or something so they cant play! Dont just assume its dying / "falling" there could be a comeback. The server will never die. New players ALL the time. As people leave more come. Remember that. But the server is changing. Because of the hub they cant decide I prefer the newer ones.

They don't agree because their jealous. They don't know how to speak for themselves. Never change, I do think your on the right track.

But people will try to sway you from that path, like a tree and the wind. A strong tree won't be uprooted, though.

 

Hate to be that guy, but you're overexaggerating. This isn't Game of Thrones, this is a Minecraft server.
You might be a very successful artist one day, though! I can see potential in your words.

People leave and join. Just because a bunch of "veterans" left doesn't mean this community is falling.
I found this server more than two years ago. I wasn't really the most likable person back then. I used to see people who said this community is being ruined and that new kids are destroying the server and whatnot. Most of these guys are gone now. They realized that complaining about the community they used to like isn't fun, so they left.

Yes, this community changed alright. If you think the tree is falling, jump off it and take your last selfie while gliding with your parachute. Take what you can and remember it. After the tree falls, little animals will build their homes in the fallen branches and logs. Maybe nothing is left for you, but for them, the fallen tree means so, so much. wow really now you're the game of thrones guy mint

Almost everyone gets old and mature after a certain amount of time. Since new people are joining all the time, and since (FROM WHAT I SEE) a lot of them are 10-14 years old, it's boring to stay while these guys who you don't even know behave in a childish & annoying way. I used to abuse glitches and piss mods off (sorry Radeon), which was entertaining to me back then, but now it looks like a very dumb thing to do.

My point is, others enjoy this server. Clearly not everyone thinks the community is going downhill. If you're not enjoying this place anymore, the only advice I have for you is to move on...

 

I think the server numbers are fine. Yes, sometimes there are less people on than normal, but I don't think this is a big problem. Plus, if you think about it, the server has been up for a while now and people get older and move on. To be honest, I would have probably already left if it weren't for the forums and the friends that I met on here. I understand where you are coming from though because the server is always changing a lot, but I think as of right now, we have enough people on to keep the server at a stable number.

I have seen so many of these threads, and I have mostly not agreed to them.
But, when you think of it, why are so many people making these types of threads? Like, I honestly doubt there is any coincidence. Now, I don't agree with what the owner of this thread has stated, because there is evidence that proves otherwise. But I think there is something more to this that we haven't seen. Which I haven't even seen. As I said earlier, the lately eruption of threads like these aren't coincidences. Something is up. Just what I am thinking as of right now.

 

Jesus christ these threads are so damn annoying. Its the same message every time and its always proven wrong.

 

Minecraft isn't as interesting as before. As I've said in another thread, the game has passed its peak and is heading down the steep slope. Many people have lost interest in the game, including me. I used to get on the server every weekend for many hours, but now, most of that time is spent either studying, playing golf, or playing Halo with my friends and competitive team.
