What is something you didn't want to do, but glad you did?

Well, this dates back to a year ago.

My school has these baseball workouts twice a week starting in November for the players to get in shape. At this time, I was still fairly new to middle school, and I had never really stayed after school. I was kinda, scared you know. I didn't go to these until Middle December when my friends had finally convinced me to come. Going my first time I was hella nervous, but it payed off. Trust me, it did. Now this year I'm the ones bugging my friends to go to these. xD

Going to Albany. It's an amazing place, I hesitated at first because I am not a social person, I would rarely go out to new places and we decided to go. We had to get woken up at 3am in the morning and started our drive. (To dodge traffic.) For me the 4 hour drive was a eternity but once we got there I saw a whole new world and has sparked me to do more things and go outside of my bubble.
The main reason I say this is because without this, I don't think I would be going to Sydney, Bathurst later this year to watch the race I dreamt of seeing as a child, The Bathurst 1000. This series means so much to our family and to see it with them. With what I see as the last year of Ford vs. Holden I'm not going to lie, I think I might shed a tear or two when we get there.

Taking ice skating lessons. When I started being homeschooled (which was late September of this year), I had nothing to do. I hadn't actually ever been skating before that.
