Simple question, do you think non-Americans living in America should be able to vote who is going to be the next president of America?
I'd say yes, seeing as how the president of the US has a pretty big influence on other countries.

    Debate.
(Please don't start arguments about why this candidate is better than that one because...
    Just answer the question)

I don't see why they would need to, most countries have their own affairs to deal with, more pressing than the leader of the us

They have no reason to vote, and U.S citizens don't vote for the british PM, do we?

Even though our boy Trump is a global threat, that's still only a problem in the US as of now.
You only vote if you are a citizen. Anyone else from other countries voting would be extremely stupid and exploitable as hell.

Each to their own. People voting for another country is extremely stupid, because they have no right to bust their head into other people's affairs. Every government makes decisions for their own citizens' interests first before foreign interests. No country is self-sufficient and needs each other to trade, so other countries benefit from each other, with all the exports and imports. So, every country is connected, but this connection only happens because the governments work for their countries' interests.

Letting non-Americans vote will be biased towards democratic candidates. They are either immigrants or not very wealthy and seeing as democrats give out free money basically, they will vote for them.

I believe if you've lived here a certain amount and contribute as a non-citizen, yes.

We don't want people to come visit, vote on behalf of our country, then leave, of course. Or even to vote from their own country on behalf of our country. That would be ridiculous.

But if you work here, pay taxes, and have lived here for a certain time period, then why should you not be allowed the ability to vote? Just because you are not an American citizen? Whoever is elected the president affects a person like that, just as much at it affects an American citizen.

A: I never said democrats were all immigrants, I simply stated that immigrants would vote for them.
B: I know that they are not all poor, just the immigrants and lower class

This post is really misleading. First I'd like to say that the OP asked for no political arguements, which tbh this is just asking for.

Continuing on with the roast though, You claim it's biased to democrats. Hmm, I wonder why. Maybe it's because America by far is one of the most conservative and bought-out western countries. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Democrats are predominantly liberal and Republicans are predominantly conservative. The rest of the world is super-lib compared to the U.S. , even the dems.

The whole "Immigration" and "poor people" arguements are total bullshit. This is a thread where people are polled on whether international voting for 1 country's elections is a good thing. They would not need to leave their country to vote in America, basically. Keeping that in mind, Immigration is ruled out, because why the fuck would I migrate to another country that's going to hate me to vote, when I can vote in my home country.

The "poor people" arguement is also bullshit. I mean, why would I vote for a leader who is going to give other people better living standards when I can barelly get by myself?

You can't say that immigrants will mostly vote for a party. People have minds of their own, so they can make decisions like we do.

Of course not! Then where would we be? Voting in the U.S. is a right that needs to continue to be given EXCLUSIVELY to U.S. Citizens. I don't undertsand how people can say that mandating Voter ID's is a bad thing. Pure ignorance is what it is.

    This.

Considering the US isn't based around welfare, Im not sure if this is the reason they come, however. There definetly is a correlation between immigratints and voting democrat. They're usually very homophobic, but it doesn't deter them

The reason they come is to find jobs and sometimes safety from the place where they originated. Welfare is one thing they receive and a small amount come for that purpose.

Anyways, I don't think non-Americans should be allowed to vote.
After all, the world hates us and would probably elect Trump to spite us.

Well the voting does not really matter because as I am aware of, at the end the votes don't count.

The voted do count, they are just finalized into the form of electoral votes, which are in proportion of the votes by the citizens.
