New Spawn - Options

I see a lot of people complaining and a lot liking the new change of the lobby. I'm here to build things people like and not what I like, so might aswell make a poll on what to do.

There are two options:

• Keep the new lobby.
• Go back to the old lobby (but updated to have more portals space).

I'll leave the decision up to the community. We worked hard on the new lobby but it was made for the community directly, and not for us in specific. So, the community's voice will make the decision.

I am in reality neutral, because I only decided to change for efficiency and to sort of gift it to the community (which now I question if it is indeed better with the amount of complaints). I'm personally sorry if we let some people down and disappointed anyone, we had the best intentions.

So yes, answer the poll, we'll close it on the 2nd of February and we'll make a decision based on the answers.

I would like the old lobby. But the only reason why I am making this decision because the new lobby needs to have more stuff to it.

 

It doesn't lag my computer as much as the old lobby did.
(the old lobby crashed my Minecraft a lot lol)

Honestly, I like the new one, as the old one (yes it was amazing and other things) but it got boring after a while you knew all the places and nothin' was really fun, so now we can explore a new one, and yes I know that people doesn't like we've one portal now, but honestly, it's much easier too people to find the portal for a mini-game then running around looking for it, so I'll say the new spawn, like we need to honestly give it a chance think that william and the other worked really hard on it, I think it was around 3 or 5 months to nothing? I think we should give it time.

I say keep it. Change is good every once in a while. Even though people don't like it, I'm sure everyone will grow into it soon enough. :p

 

I like the new lobby because it makes it easier for the staff so they don't have to add another portal for a mini game. The old lobby was cool and I did like it but the new lobby looks cool and it is easier.

Keep the new lobby. You guys worked hard on it and the lobby deserves to be used.

 

I personally loved the crap out of the old lobby. Especially flying around on the warp pads, lol. But there comes a time where change must happen. And this new lobby does just that. Sure it does have its kinks, but we have had the old lobby for quite some time now.

"Nothing Built Lasts Forever" is a quote I go by, when decisions close to these are to be made. My opinion, the old lobby has been outplayed for quite some time now, and it's time it gets relieved of its duties. The New Lobby is great right now, and I'm having a ton of fun exploring it with my friends. As I said earlier, it does have its kinks, but it's been time for a new lobby.

I would say keep the new lobby.

 

The new lobby is more laggy for me

 

I honestly have no issues with the new lobby other than lag it self. Everyone keeps saying players are lagging of the new spawn. Having one huge portal is a good thing and a bad thing. The way I see it is that I like the new spawn it different than all of the others that I've seen in the past. Maybe switching things up with the old spawn and seeing how what's wrong with the old spawn and seeing people like that one could work.

But over all I say keep the new spawn.

 

Why not both?

Try to incorporate both together (add Mappy's tree back), such as parkour to islands which are broken floating chunks of unusable game portals from old lobby, for example.

 

The spawn is super nice built. But it's a bit big. I would love to have the old spawn back where you have more islands and more portals c:

 

I honestly like the new spawn as it brings a bit of change into IJAH, we've been using the old spawn for quite some time now and its always nice to have a bit of an upgrade.

I say keep it, it looks fantastic.

 

the new spawn is way to laggy i'm running like 5fps and I personally like the old spawn better.

 

The new spawn is great I don't think we should go back to the old spawn. One thing that I think you could change is cutting down some of the unnecessary stuff to make it less laggy. Anyways this new spawn is Hypixel Quality and the work you put into it paid off.

 

I say go back to the old lobby because it seems that the new lobby is more laggy. If new players log on and lag in the lobby they most likely won't stay.

 

There has to be change.. I don't get it though.. everyone says there needs to be a new lobby but then complains when we do get one..

I say keep it, we need some type of change.

 

How about we keep the new one but, improved to fit the needs of people?

 

Great Idea, it would encourage those who think this new lobby is controversial to like it.
