the fact you just said that is almost / slightly directed towards me... i was confident enough for posting a selfie without makeup, and i get hate for it? I only used one snapchat filter, and that isnt a bad thing, you are acting as if it's a crime to use filters or wear makeup. makeup boosts a girls confidence a real lot. we are born in the body we cant change, no matter what size or what you look like. wearing makeup can help a girl feel confident about herself outside and on the inside, yes, some guys do not like makeup. but we dont need guys to tell us we are beautiful. all we need is to tell ourselves we are beautiful. I am really insecure about myself with alot of things and i built up the courage to post that. and "useless" makeup isnt a thing. Makeup isnt a mask, it isnt anything to hide behind. if makeup was useless why would girls pay ALOT of many for it? and onto the filters, filters arent a bad thing, they really just add different colors, and lighting to the photo.

remember that next time you see a girl with lots of filters or a face of makeup.
