Poll [No flame wars please]

In this poll, I've listed some of the main candidates that are going for President. If there is someone that you support that is not on the poll, comment their name, and why. This post isn't supposed to start a flame war nor do I want it to start a flame war so if you are going to post your opinion on another candidate please show respect in your opinion.

 

Anyone except Trump

 

Exactly, most a lot of people going for candidates similar to Bernie Sanders only support them because of one single thing they they have learned about him/her. The 20 trillion dollars of debt and other financial issues is the whole reason anyone votes for Donald Trump, that's why I support him, America needs to stop worrying about the reputation of Islam in the world under Barack Obama and start focusing on our financial issues and more.

 

You are very right, a country is not a company, but in America's current state, it almost essential to find a president with good financial skills, we owe trillions and its getting to a point where China says if we don't pay back they are taking a chunk of our land worth 1 trillion. A good president would have both financial and social attributes and whichever presidents shows knowledge and strength in both categories should be president.

There are other issues in the world that are more important that need to be recognized.

 

I like Bernie Sanders for a lot if reasons.
He believes in a world with a more equal playing field.
You don't have to be $100,000 in debt after college.
You don't have to lose your life savings if you get cancer, etc.
And since you mentioned it, 'free stuff' to 'people who don't deserve it', what about huge tax breaks to corporations like WalMart who bitch about having to pay a decent wage and in turn force their workers onto welfare/food stamps/medicaid? As taxpayers, we won't directly get to say who gets our tax dollars. But I'd rather have my tax money go towards helping the poor, students, elderly, vets...real people, rather than corporations.

2. Yeah, like I would REALLY trust Republicans to do whats best for me healthcare wise, when they don't even believe women have the right to make decisions regarding their own bodies. NOT HAPPENING.
3. You sound pretty chalk full of privilege there. If you have a great life, a nice warm house and food to eat, good for you. You have more than a lot of others. Does that make you feel better about yourself, looking down on people who don't have what you do? Do you think living on $600-$800/mo. is easy? 'Well, they should go to college, get an education' and leave $100,000 in debt after graduating.
It's a cycle.
4. Sanders is the only person I would trust to actually help. Republicans like to pretend they care, until its time for a vote.

1. That number was an estimate. Of course everyone wouldn't have the same costs. There are technical colleges, state colleges, community colleges, Ivy league colleges... I doubt community college would cost as much as Harvard. Obvi.
Where would that money be better spent though? Putting people through college or helping the WalMart family keep more money in their pockets? I know what I would choose :)
2. Most Republicans have the same views, some are just more nutty/extreme. Especially this crop of 'candidates'.
3. Education should be free. Like I said, what makes the WalMart family and the rest of the 1% special? "Nothing in this world is free" unless you're an Über wealthy family/corporation. Then, here! Free money! Courtesy of the people you're screwing, by paying $9/hr. and forcing onto public assistance.
4. I won't even tell you my honest opinion of Republicans :)

I only like him because I used to have a cat called Bernie and his last name is Sanders (The same last name as the KFC dude)

 

This is a serious topic.

Because there are people dying, killing, starving, etc. all around the world.
And we need a president who can fix these problems.

 

FYI I'm not American

 

All the present candidates are not perfect, but my personal preference is Bernie Sanders, because of his stance against the regressive tax system, unfair and expensive college costs, and even acknowledging that we don't need to spend billions more on building more navy vessels, whereas other candidates want to build more.

 

FYI it doesn't matter if you are or not.

 

Y'all looking at Donald Trump as a bad guy.. Y'all are saying that Bernie will do America right. For what I've seen, both Bernie and Donald have beautiful points, and in my opinion, I think Donald should win. He wants to clean up America, like everyone else wants to, except I trust that Donald would do that. What he wants to do will cut crime rate down A LOT and would make America a better place. And since Donald is good with money and he is a very smart guy.. If I lived in the states.. I'd be voting for him.

 

More like he wants to clear up the entire Muslims on america

 

The only reason he even slightly mentioned that was because Barack Obama was letting in 11,000 immigrants from Syria, and Donald Trump is atleast smart enough to know that some of them could have radical ideology. It is honestly sad that some people who do nothing but sit behind a screen all day and play a block game would know anything about politics. Not calling anyone out, but still.
