    I saw this everywhere, even in Turkey...
    I mean i cant say that he is wrong,this could help out America about gun violence.The public kinda needs to know about the ''smart'' gun technology a bit more though.
    It really touched my feelings how he wiped out his tears :I

    Though his primary objective should be ending ISIS's reign of terror.

    I agree with this completely. Honestly, ISIS is a huge threat, but so is all the violence that happens right there on American soil.
    Stop the danger at home before stopping it at your neighbor's house.

    Oh okay, let's also get rid of the law, since y'know... Criminals won't follow it anyway.
    Your slogan that "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" is correct, but guns definitely make it a lot easier. Surely knives can be used as a weapon as well, but they are not nearly as effective as a gun. All you have to do is pull a little trigger to kill someone, a little kid can do it (which still happens in the US). That can't be said about a knife.

    Also, there are knife laws, how about you look them up... Or just go to the mall while holding a big ass machete and see what happens.

    Just look at this and this, compare it to the other "First world countries". Maybe you'll learn something when you don't get your information from Fox "News"

    I believe that a gun-free zone isn't a great option, but tighter gun control is the best option. People can only own small arms fire, and only obtain it through gun shops managed by the government. Obama is addressing an issue that could have easily been prevented. He doesn't want to ban guns, he only wants to have tighter gun control.

    You need to watch Obamas talk before you start criticizing him because he basically said exactly what you just wrote. I mean its kinda stupid when you clearly have no clue at what is being suggested.

    I'd bet that a big percentage of shootings in the US are caused by people who have easy access to guns because well, they are just there. Kids walking up to school with a pistol and doing the job because their parents keep a gun in the drawer for ''protection''. If you can make it harder for people to have a gun, you don't need people to protect themselves from such threats by having guns.

    I just think that maybe you should look at other countries and look at gun laws in them, sure mishaps happen from time to time but it's not a reason to give people firepower so they can ''fight back''.

    And yes, people can kill other people with knives, but like Jerry said, it's a ton easier to kill someone with a gun, you don't need to get up personal, you can shoot them from meters away from your target.

    I'm not an American so I can't say what should and shouldn't be done, but my opinion is that it should indeed be harder to have a gun, so these mishaps don't occur.
