Minecraft My opinion on 1.9 update

I bet people who say it will ruin Minecraft haven't even tried the new features.
I personally had a blast playing kitpvp on some servers that update to each snapshot of the version, all the new mechanics were really fun to test out and use. + The elytra wings are frickin' awesome.
Also, did you know servers can edit the cooldown time of the swords, axes, etc? So even once 1.9 comes out, if a server wants to they can enable the old PvP system (where, tbh, if you have a good internet connection you are more likely to win and hacking is easier).

I like 1.9 pvp. It provides a bit more to pvp than machine-like clicking. It also raises the power of bows, which tbh, will still be balanced with arrow bounce-back on shields. I haven't tried the Elytras, but Dogfighting will be really cool lol

 

I haven't really tested much of the features out (except for the basic pvp mechanics) But I like what I'm hearing so far.

I like elytra and shields but Im still thinking a bit negative about it.

Elytra: Just plain awesome. It makes me think of phoenix's. And they're cool.

Shields: Easier to block hit, because YOUR NOT BLOCK HITTING LOL

Everything else: S-H-*-T. No, not just crap. Sh*t. Maybe when they fixed all the glitches I'll have a different opinion. But right now its sh*t.

They explicitly haven't realeased 1.9 yet just so that they can focus on bugs / glitches. They should be gone :)
