    Actually, I've just tested this out and you're wrong.

    I've opened like 80 tabs in all of my browsers and firefox & interwebz explorer are the ones to eat up the most ram.
    What chrome eats up more, though, is CPU speed. See how my cpu is at 97? That's because of background chrome operations.

    I can find plenty of up-to-date sources that prove otherwise and zero that comply with you. You're definitely not running an accurate test: Empty tabs don't count, try loading 80 web pages and both browsers should have the same add-ons/toolbars.
