Sorry, but I hate when I don't get to say what I want.

I was going to post this on the http://www.itsjerryandharry.com/threads/ijah-santa-twitter-explanation.82040/, but then a moderator closed the thread when there was no flame, drama, or anything. A few uneducated people said drama because they are trying to be trolls.

Let me start off with using the f word in every other sentence. Wait, no. That's useless. I got another idea. Let's point fingers! BEN WAS THE MASTERMIND! Wait no. This isn't a thread of Sherlock Holmes.

My god, the same comments exist here over and over: You screwed up Ben. You will be excommunicated along with your buddies. No one will like you. Wow you suck Ben. Just because you claim you did 4 innocent tweets, it doesn't lift what everyone else did off your shoulders.

Ya Ben and everyone here understands. Why say the same things? Does it matter anymore that you didn't expect him to do that, and he betrayed everyone's trust and thoughts about him? He dun-goofed. He did it, so focus on what really matters. This is what really matters:

What was done on the Twitter account shouldn't be some major cripple or crisis. Who cares? Some idiots say stupid things. They are trolls, and what are troll's words worth? Nothing. My good friend @Caity was attacked by the tweets (with demotion comments), but should she or anyone else care? Frick no! Caity is an amazing staff member that does everything required and above and beyond. @Sellz was attacked with looks. Why should he care? We all know that his filters are A+, and he looks A+ in every picture. So why care about what the trolls said? @Devin is my homie and is gonna be making my burritos soon. I doubt he gives two craps about what was said about him. I don't know what other things were said because I don't do twitter and couldn't navigate much to find more of the tweets.

The whole point is to move on from this. As a community, it's not about focusing on shunning the people that did this or finding out who did it. Rather let's be strong and not give two fucks about what was said and keep doing what we do best. Support each other.

 

The only drama in the thread was from the responses and what people made it out to be. Ben just apologized. Again, things like this explain why im not nearly as active anymore. Keemstar would be overloaded with drama just looking at a couple of these threads.

 

The only way I think this issue can be resolved is if everyone realizes that Ben apologized. Yes, he did do some bad things, even if his tweets are harmless, he was still involved. If we are attacking Ben, does that make us better than him or his accomplices? We need to sit down and talk about this calmly. He should be punished accordingly, but we should not be flaming him.

In my opinion, the staff team wasn't handling it entirely maturely for a group of 14-17ish year olds. (Not you in particular, obviously since I agree, but in general) It was a repition of saying "Shame on you, disgusting, you hurt our feelimgs, bullying is bad" and no shit bullying is bad. We established that already. Shaming him isn't going to help.

 

This. Half the people don't realize that in the science of psychology, this exacerbates the problem. Makes it bigger than it is.

Yeah, y'all are hurt. I don't blame you if you get over it. I DO BLAME YOU if you are butthurt about it. If you're butthurt, then I have no sympathy and no reason to give it.

 

The gifs were just awful, annoying, and smartass. "You disgust me" great thanks to know awesome staff member! Its not like you could have been forgiveful, or even show decency, no thats out of proportion. Its not like you represent the server! Noooo

I honestly see that thread as a way for the community to say "Fuck you and fuck off." No doubt, jokes go wrong, and this one certainly went south FAST. Honestly if people are still groaning about the account weeks after the events, then they're just as bad as the trolls themselves. No doubt, after their bans, the group will come back. Some may welcome with open arms, some may not. It's all personal preference, and not worth dividing this community over a stupid and petty conflict.
