Amazon parcels...flown to you?

It's true, drones are taking over the world! People thought it was amazing when you could get next-day delivery but now you can get 30 minute delivery? With "Amazon Prime Air" drones take off and deliver your parcel to you, what do you guys think about this?

Personally I think it's ridiculous, now people are going to just keep shooting these things down and robbing them etc, also what if a bunch of pigeons or eagles started beating the hell out of it? Parcel would fall and then whatever you ordered would've been obliterated. Sure, there's technology on it that can detect dangers but can it detect a swarm of birds quick enough before the parcel and drone is damaged?

These are actually really nice. Ofcourse, these drones will have locators and self-defense mechanisms. Eagles and pigeons attacking it are, rare to say the least. And, it's not like they're flying over a fucking warzone. If someone shoots at it, people are obviously going to hear the shot, and call police. Amazon will also call the police when their drone gets shot out of the sky.

 

I might not try out the drone since of the high chance of it being robbed, stolen, etc. Especially since we are in the holiday season.
Though it does seem tempting to try it out at least once.....

Ofcourse GUNS wouldn't be a thing. And seriously, fucking pigeons or eagles won't attack a drone. I'm talking about self-defense mechanisms if the drone is taken out of the sky by briggans. A tazer surrounding the package or just the drone itself would be ideal

 

How would the tazer work though? In that logic, anyone that opens the package will be tazed. I was joking also.
