I was writing a paper, and I wrote about free health care in the essay. Eventually I become more curious, so I have a question for you guys. What do you think about free health care? Depending on which country you live in, but I am asking mostly the people who live in the U.S here. Sorry others, you may comment aswell because I am curious how it works in other countries. If you have the knowledge, please share it with me if you'd like. So what do you think/feel about free health care? And please try and be serious about this.
In the UK we have free healthcare. Doesn't work too well. Due to cuts to the NHS (National Health Service) and all, doctors these days will find any possible reason not to give you a prescription just to save the government money. I think it would work better if they were to charge £1-2 for a prescription, because that way they can be more lenient on giving them out and it helps more people. £1-2 won't have a huge impact on someone's bank account, and everyone can afford it.
