Why do people think the swatstika is a NAZI sign? The swatstika is actually a shape, but the nazis used it. Why does that make it illegal to use it? I use the swatstika in SP for iron farms and etc. And I like it for shape designs. Why not just change the rule too, do not try to represent the NAZI.
We understand what a swastika is. It's what the Nazi turned it into. In this argument, I like to bring up the word "hentai." It means "pervert" in Japanese, yet as time moved on, it is associated with something else that I do not want to delve into. Anyway, time changes things. It's illegal to have the swastika because of that reason. If this were a time before WWII and before Nazis, it would probably be allowed, but for now, it brings back a tragedy of human history. Other examples of how time changes a lot of things are words like f***. It literally means "to hoe," but modern times forced it to be tagged as inappropriate.
I have nothing to say that is any different than the member above me. The Nazi sign symbolizes the most bloody war in human history. Roughly 60 million people were killed, and to assume the role of a Nazi, a person who murders people by the millions is really uncool. That's like saying you're part of Isis (Today's new Nazis, hooray), which I find it hard to believe Isis members can even be considered human with their barbaric actions.
This is really hard to see for some people. I can't say anymore than this but I'm just pointing this out.
Honestly, Who here sees the swastika as a shape and not a Nazi sign? No one, I guess. Hitler and his people did too much trouble in the world, none can just forget it and start using the swastika again, it's written into history with a permanent marker, so I find it acceptable that it is illegal in some countries, especially Germany, as they have to keep this horrible part of history with them, trying to cover something that can't be covered. Well, it is proudly used in other countries, but I would say it's found offensive towards a lot of people today from what I've seen.
