IGN: TheMiner30 Server: KitPvP Detailed: So, as we know, in KitPvP there are emeralds as a use for currency. Normally, when you die, you lose your whole inventory but the kit selector and your emeralds. But what happens if you combat log, or accidentally walk into the portal after /spawn and your combat tag is not yet over? If you combat log with your emeralds in your inventory, which is most likely the place they will be in, then you will lose the emeralds and the kit selector. This is a bug, because this is not how the combat log system was supposed to interact with the emeralds. This has happened to me and many other players, and it needs to be fixed.
I think that they are trying to stop people from combat logging? So you lose the current currency on your person. But who knows.
It sometimes isn't even from combat logging, it's from you going to spawn to go afk or something, and then accidentally walking through the portal. The same thing happens, even though you actually didn't mean to combat log.
I've logged 2 times (both timing out) and have not lost any emeralds. Is there something weird about how you lost your emeralds? Were you holding them whilst timing out or something?
Nope. I never hold my emeralds. I just hold my sword and come back on if I log off. I then lose my emeralds. I don't know if it's something I did, or what, but I haven't really done anything with any glitches or bugs.
From the times I've combat logged either on accident or on purpose, it can vary from having a few spots left to having an almost completely empty inventory.
