I have a HUGE crush! What should I do?

What Should I Do?

  1. Ask her out! DO IT! JUST DO IT!!!

  2. Plan out what you are going to when you ask her out, then ask her out.

  3. Wait a little while to ask her out.

  4. You don't have a chance. Don't do it.

So, I have this HUGE crush on this really beautiful girl at my school, and I have a feeling she likes me. I want to ask her out, but I'm afraid she'll say no. What should I do? (Please vote on the poll!)

My English teacher talks about this topic a lot and he coined the phrase "FYF" for it. It stands for "Fling your filament." It comes from a poem about spiders who latch with each other using the filament that comes out of their abdomen. Basically he uses this to say "It's better to have flung and lost that never to have flung at all." So what he says is to do it.
Imo, you'll feel better about it in the end, and if you don't do it, there'll always be that "What if?" in your mind that'll haunt you throughout your life.

    Advice from a single person:

Buy her flowers and chocolate when you ask her out. If she says no, take them back.

I've heard that quote before. I think I'm just gonna do it. I'm just gonna walk up to her while she's not looking and I'm gonna be like "You know what? I love you! I really freaking love you. Will you be my one and only?"

Try to become good friends, gain her trust first.

Love is a very strong word, so be careful. Like @_ItsHappy said, try to become her friend first so you can be sure if she feels how you think she does. Or, just tell her that you like her. It worked for me :P

I agree with @_ItsHappy and @Ninjaman. I would suggest becoming close friends first, slowly gaining her trust, making her see your good side, and then when you're ready, ask her out, and I would suggest face-to-face, not through social media or anything xD

    Bruh, just remember, he's 13, not 25.

Honestly, I wouldn't ask her out just yet, as Chippy said, dating in middle school is a no, and most relationships don't even last a year. some don't even last for a week lol

It's true, but not exactly. I've had friends who have had long relationships. Furthermore, he's in love with someone, so he has the right to express his feelings if he wants to.

As a few people have already stated, dating in school is something I wouldn't really recommended. You have your whole life to find someone and school is the time were you are learning about life and setting you up for job opportunity's for when you leave.

I would say yes but just keep in mind, a study shows that people who have girlfriends have a likely chance to get lower then their average studies.

I do recommend you not to but do talk to her really often. Don't try anything stupid :)

Just be genuine and ask her out. Don't think too much into it by planning it or you will not be prepared if she rejects. Be okay with possible rejection. The more genuine you are, the situation won't be as weird.

I've gained her trust already and we've been friends for a year now. She literally trusts me with anything. I'm gonna try my chances and go for it.
I can't tell you how many relationships massed the 1 year mark this year. I could be one of them.

I'm just gonna go for it. All of these things you're saying is just making me want to go for it.
Thanks for all the help. No need to keep this thread open.
