Hi guys, I'd like to ask a question about school, today my RE teacher in school was acting oddly today, this is what happened: *class doing work and teacher walks in* Other teacher: Hi, (name censored), I just came in to see which class you're taking? My teacher: Just this 9Y2 class, we're doing about pilgrimages Other teacher: Oh, I had these last year, how are they doing? My teacher: They seem to not be able to put much information in to their answers Other teacher: Well, there's your job, you've got to guide my old class in to doing this My teacher: No, I should kill them. Then the teacher walks out and the class nervously laughs Then about 5 minutes later, My teacher: You don't seem to be working fast enough, you've only got 10 minutes of the lesson left Kid: ...you said you was going to kill us! My teacher: Go to the BSR! (Behavior Support Room, where you send kids if they've been really naughty) Kid: what? That's not very fair, you said you was going to kill us! My teacher: GO! Now, before you say it was a joke, it was quite offensive. School kids/students do actually get killed by teachers sometimes, like school shootings? I mean, what's to find funny about getting killed? I'm not one to get offensive easily, but I don't like it if a RELIGIOUS EDUCATION teacher is finding murder funny, it's very wrong, at least to me anyway. Others may have found it offensive too if they may know someone who has been killed etc... you just don't joke about that if you're an RE teacher. Also, it's kind of wrong too if the teacher asks her to do her job (teach us) but she says that she's going to kill us? wtf? Has something like this ever happened to you in your school? Has a teacher ever said something really offensive or been fired for doing something bad?
This teacher I dislike accidentally kicked me. I knew it was an accident but others made a big fuss and got him fired.
Most of the teachers I despise are now stuck in the school I happily graduated from. Oh, let me tell you about that chemistry teacher that absolutely hates answering questions in his subject. Instead of explaining, he castigates the whole damn class while we murmur to ourselves along the lines of "what the hell". Glad we got past him. It severely impacted my college entrance exam though - my grades weren't that stellar in his subject, but what did he teach us? Insults, not chemistry. He's also so frikkin' annoying. He won't stop telling us that "the Lord delivered me from the mortal sin of [insert actual mortal sin here]" and we're like "k. why are you telling us this stuff? we don't want to know about your personal life, we need good grades" Before I turn eighteen, I need to punch that guy's face and shove my Chem 17 grades on his face.
