@MSZ you work with computers so you should be able to help out. So I want to sell a pc. But I don't know anything about a pc worth if I said it right. I don't know the prices so if you could help me choose a price this pc could be sold for please help. Here are the specs: keep if mind I baught this PC for $250 and I am selling it because I think its worth more than that lol... Operating system: windows 8.1 pro 64-bit CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 810 deneb 45nm technology RAM: 8.00GB Dual - Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz Motherboard: BIOSTAT Group TA880GU3+ (CPU 1) Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (EVGA) Storage: 298GB Seagate So how much do you think I can sell this PC for? Also the Case is pretty dope with 2 Fans 1 side fan which us broken... BLUE LED lights.
What makes it this price? I'm kind of curious now.. Since by looking at what he gave us.. I would have thought less than Edit: Okay, I realized I thought of a different CPU..
He changed his price from 500-550 to 300-350.. so what I said is accurate.. but looking more to the $400 side.. CPU is $125 Graphics Card is $70 Ram is around $100 Everything else is around $125-150 in total.. So it is around $300-400
It's worth about what you paid for it - but you got a decent deal. The processor is old at this point. You can get used ones on ebay for $35-$40. I did a quick search and saw a combo CPU+MBO+8G memory for $79. The other major component is the graphics card and I saw one as low as $16.50 and another for $20. Both the items I just mentioned are used, but so is yours. So figure for $100 + shipping on ebay you could get the CPU, MBO, 8GB memory and GTX 650. That's why someone sold you the machine for $250. People are giving away 300GB hard drives. I have tossed a few of those in the garbage already myself over the last few years. :) I would keep it as a backup machine personally unless you already have a couple of those.
IDK I might just keep it. Even tho it sounds bad it can play games very well up to 2-4k frames on mincraft.
Obviously not in a server with people but when I tried to get top FPS I got about 3.5k. I made a thread about it with a screenshot but I can't find it.
No, not even with an Intel i7 4790k and a Titan X GPU 4x SLI overclocked you get 2000-4000 fps. And your PC is WAY worser than an Intel i7 4790k with a Titan X 4x SLI overclocked computer, so yeah, you can't get 2000-4000 fps in that pc.
I would personally keep the computer, and rip out the best components. Then, sell the rest and buy the parts you need.
