I was sitting in my living room this morning and a thought came to me. Why is it ok to take candy from strangers on Halloween, but on any other day it's considered wrong to take candy from strangers? Yes, I understand it's just for fun and it's a special holiday, but it's not like parents haven't caught razor blades in their children's candy. If you go trick-or-treating I advise you to check everything you eat and make sure it hasn't been opened before. Stay safe. <3
I don't go trick or treating cuz 1 my parents will think il get kidnapped 2 I hate scary things 3 u r so ture
I never go trick-or-treating. I think halloween is pointless. If someone throws a party, sure I'd go, but apart from that nope.
The only reason I still go trick-or-treating with my friends is because one of my friends lives in a neighborhood with a bunch of rich Indian people who give away full-size Reese's. I don't dress up, I just make up some lazy excuse about how my normal clothes are a "costume." Getting five pounds of candy FOR FREE is totally worth walking around neighborhoods at night and awkwardly talking to the Indian woman with the full size Reese's. Full size Reese's. Did I mention they have full size Reese's?
Trick or treating on Halloween is safe as long as you respect the safety rules. (e.g not going in a car, not going inside someone in their home, etc.) Honestly, just going to ring at doors with your friends/parents with you is not dangerous. Why I bolded that is because going trick or treating alone can be a little more dangerous.
I love Halloween. I dress in a head to toe costume, and go out with my friends and dad. We are throwing a party, I just love it.
My favorite holiday is Halloween. My least favorite part about Halloween: The Trick-or-Treating. It's pointless to get more candy when you can use your left over candy. It will last till Christmas, and also attract bugs. I love Halloween because I set up all these things at my house and stay to scare people. :) Yay for scaring!
i go trick-or-treating every year because of, well, free candy. and i am always in a costume for halloween :^^) but anyways, i've recently been informed that the following "candy" are actually drugs. Spoiler: sp00py "candy" i mean, why would you eat candy that's in the form of a domino lmaO. and any candy that's similar to those drugs up there are drugs as well. you know, those "candies" that are in those really odd packages that show the candy from the outside, and they all taste the same with this chalky texture. just be aware of the candy you get from trick-or-treating, a'ight.
I love Halloween, and I love dressing up. But i'm super scared of what people have done to their candy, so I just go trick or treating at peoples houses that I know. Suggestion- Go to the people you know houses if you don't trust anyone else.
