A day without internet?

I lost all technology for a month so...

 

When Hurricane Sandy hit, we had nothing for two weeks. No internet, no TV, no power, no heat, no nothing, all for two weeks. I thought it would be terrible.
Then I had fun reading books by flashlight and playing massive day-long Monopoly matches with my sister... It was honestly pretty great. I ended up enjoying it a lot.
By the time the Internet came back, I was almost sad to put away the Monopoly board... (And I was also sad because that was the end of our two weeks off from school but whatever)

OMGOMGOMGOMG internet is out for a day! Omg can't go outside or keep myself occupied! Meanwhile kids are starving wishing they can see the homepage of google.
What the society has come to makes me sick.

 

Survived 12 years.
I never got internet until I was 12.
