Staff Power Abuse Talk

What do you see as "Power Abuse" from staff?

How I see abusing powers:

1. Banning for no reason
2. Muting for no reason
3. Griefing them
4. Kicking you constantly
5. Ignoring people who need help

 

I'd say Power Abuse from staff is staff abusing the fact they are staff.
I think the heading Power Abuse is quite literal to it's meaning.

 

Just typing in /ban and not knowing what real hax are

 

Using our powers to abuse.

So harassing (as we can see balances, we can state your real balance and if a player doesn't want that, stating it in public chat can count as harassment), griefing (although generally it is not punishable, since mods and higher can access any plot they desire, having proof of a mod/higher griefing is abuse), warning/banning in hopes of getting a player banned/permed (I have never seen this myself actually happen, but you never know), enforcing rules (if say, you were spamming and a staff verballed you and then went and spammed themselves that is abusing their powers of enforcing rules), scamming (except in factions, since you can scam there. HOWEVER if a staff member says 'you can trust me, I am a staff' and THEN scams you, that is power abuse), and more.


However, the ignoring for help isn't power abuse, but more so laziness on the staff's part and should be directly referred to an admin.

 

Breaking the rules as staff, and making false threats/abusing commands.

 

The mineplex staff team is abusing my brain cells.

No but seriously, they do everything listed above.
